Location. The space and size of each room. The availability of the staff.

The noise from the street. I had to use my earphones to put me in zen mood. The bed was a bit hard too.

POSITIVES * Great location - very central and close to supermarket, Macca’s, etc * Good selection of different pillows for every sleeping position

NEGATIVES * Mattress is hard as a rock - fine if you’re a back sleeper (which we aren’t) * Very few amenities - had to buy dishwasher / laundry powder, tea towel, toiletries (only provided with a few mini shower gels - no shampoo or conditioner) * No dustpan or brush * No toaster (wish we’d known this before we bought bread!) * On the fourth floor (don’t think this was highlighted on Booking.com!) * Very small lift which didn’t fit our larger suitcases * Had to complete complicated registration info before being given pin code, which proved annoying because our daughter was desperate for the toilet and it took us almost an hour to do it all (the booking only said that we COULD do it prior to arrival (eg for convenience), not that we HAD TO in order to gain access to the apartment. If we hadn't had internet we'd have had even more of a nightmare!)
