I loved this estate and so would anyone who stayed. Charm is not to be compared. You are at home in wonder. Everything appointed. Manicured. And the charm of the hosts, like a fine wine, memorable.

Hidden gem in a lovely vineyard with spectacular views!

Really lovely building in a beautiful vineyard with charming views of the surrounding mountains and lake, especially at night! The hotel has a friendly family feel and the unique interior similar to what you might find in a French chateau. The breakfast was good and we had a nice meal in the small hotel restaurant the evening before. The rooms are large and authentic to the charm of the building. The hotel is very close to the Vergina Royal tombs and brand new museum. This is a real hidden gem in an area that doesn’t cater well for overnight tourists as the archaeological sites in Vergina are only a 1 hour day trip from Thessaloniki.

I visited with my mother and we stayed in different rooms. My only complaint, which is a small one was that I had a room on the 1st floor at the top of the stairs and a group returned late for drinks in the lounge downstairs until midnight and the noise carried up the stairs. It kept me up for a few hours but these things happen from time to time and can’t be helped.

Exceptional service, beautiful estate!

This is a beautiful place to stay! The hosts were exceptional. The breakfast was delicious. They served grapes right off of their grapevines that were so sweet! The room was beautiful as well as comfortable! The views from the property were beautiful.

It was a little hard to find in the dark but the host saw us turn around because we thought we were lost and got in his car and came and found us and directed where to go.

A place to return

Everything! The road up to the property has asphalt. The view is very nice. The surroundings are quiet. One of the best sleeping experiences. Breakfast was great. It's a place to return!

Unique location and decor.

Top location with an astonishing view, real quiet environment, and unique interior. I really like the wine produced by this estate. The breakfast was really nice, with homemade food. Great to be able to take the breakfast outside and enjoy the view.

We booked the grand suite. Unfortunately the hot tub didn’t work, for this we were compensated. However, we would expect a little more for the price we paid, towels were a bit worn off, and some things in the interior were too. It was still a good experience in a very special place, but it felt like the place has known better days. Firm prices have to meet high expectations.

A wonderful stay on a Macedonian vineyard

The property is located on a winery The estate itself is amazingly beautiful with a spectacular view of the river and the grapevines The food on premise was delicious as well as the wine The owners were professional and extremely accommodating The rooms were super clean It is very close to the new museum in Aiges I would wholeheartedly recommend this place

Most unusual style of hotel on the top of a hill in its own vineyard. Modern style but traditional building and small family run hotel and restaurant. It was very quiet when we visited and we enjoyed the undivided attention of our host. Quaint rooms with all facilities. Views from the hotel are incredible and worth the visit! Meals and wine very nice too. A great location to visit the Tomb of King Phillip II nearby.

Amazing views, romantic atmosphere with chimney in common area, very quiet room, very close to Aigai

Amazing views over lake and Veria. Very convenient with car, parking just at the door. The atmosphere brings you back in time with a nice taste. Chimney in the common area was fired with some classical music which created a perfect relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a nice glass of wine. Room was spacious with traditional wooden ceiling and closet. Bed and pillows were confortable. Room was heated when we arrived through air heating. Breakfast very good, with greek pastries and sweets, and abundant.

Wonderfully quirky place

A very interesting place, how often do you get to stay at a place that was designed and built by the owner? We stayed in the middle of January and I think we were the only people staying so we got a very personal service. My wife spent some time sharing recipes with the chef, who is the owner’s wife.

Just little things in the design. We stayed in the middle of January, our room had heating and we were toasty warm, but there was no heating in the bathroom. The bathroom had a huge corner bath, but for an overnight stay we prefer a quick shower and the lack of a shower curtain resulted in a sodden bathroom floor. There weren’t enough power sockets to charge the things modern life has given us.

Visiting ancient Vergina and its museums with family

Breakfast was good enough. The landscape is amazing. Easy parking. Spacious inside/outside to sit down and enjoy view/dinner/breakfast. Rooms are very cozy with nice view.

Inside/outside facilities require more care; however, the green outside area is fine. Lunch/dinner cost is a bit expensive and the available menu is quite limited.

Beautiful property, gorgeous view, excellent food and wine, perfunctory service.

A beautifully designed and eloquently furnished estate with a REMARKABLE view! The grounds were gorgeous and well-manicured, and the in-house merlot/cab franc wine available from the adjacent vineyard was excellent. The food was well-prepared, and the service was perfectly adequate. Walking around in the evening was magnificent. Plenty of parking is available. The property has a beautiful cellar restaurant, cozy main-floor dining room, and lovely outdoor patio. It would be perfect for a reception or group event of some kind, and given the variety of venues, it would be appropriate any time of year.

The property itself was nearly perfect, although the outdoor patio wasn't ready for guests in early April. The host was polite and professional but did not go above and beyond. There was only one other guest during our stay, so we asked to upgrade to a corner room with a better view. The host refused, noting "that one is a different price." We got what we paid for, but it would have cost the property nothing to offer us a corner room since nobody else was there, and that would have made us feel like special guests, rather than just business clients. It would also have made the difference between "good" service and "excellent" service.

Great location and ambience

Excellent location on a hill giving some impressive views and a Spectacular sunset. They make their own wine which is wonderful and food was great. Breakfast was particularly delightful on the terrace.
