This is a beautiful property in a lovely quiet location. It has been lovingly refurbished from the original post house and retains the gorgeous high ceilings and white washed exterior. The rooms are all full of light and felt so spacious despite this being a one bedroom property. It is furnished to a high standard and is very clean and comfortable throughout. Outdoors the seated decking area looked on to the Nevis Range and had a BBQ if you wished to eat al fresco. Fab views indeed of the Nevis Range... and I even caught a glimpse of the Jacobite steam train going past the bottom of the garden! Caroline, the owner was absolutely fantastic. Great communication both before and during my stay. Nothing was too much trouble. She also had left delicious home made scones, pancakes, butter, home made jam and biscuits as well as prosecco, beer and bottled water. Fresh flowers in the living room were a lovely touch. I felt quite spoiled! The kitchen also had breakfast cereals, tea, coffee etc and had everything you needed for making meals. The shower room also had lovely complimentary toiletries. Caroline has really thought of everything in this lovely property.It is a really beautiful home from home which is in a great location for so many of the attractions in the area such as Neptune's Staircase just a few minutes walk away, Fort William within 10 mins drive, Glenfinnan (25 min drive) and Arisaig/ Mallaig within a 50 minute drive. It had very safe parking right outside as well as CCTV outside where the car was parked/ at the gated guest entrance. I was on a solo holiday and felt totally safe and secure there. It is a beautiful wee cottage and I will certainly be back next time I am spending time in this part of the Highlands. Thanks, Caroline. You are a really super host.

Nothing...apart from having to leave! I would happily stay again...but for longer!

We loved the location and cleanliness of the accommodation. The Host Caroline was so helpful and provided some nice welcoming foods and other packages including a lovely bunch of flowers. Would definitely recommend the Old Post House to anyone who would like to experience the real Fort William and its history

The property was super clean, and equipped with everything. It was perfect for 2 people in a great location. The hose is so friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The property was perfect.
