This was such a nice, welcoming stay. The owner left little treats... home made scones and jam. The place was well equipt with everything we needed. The location was convenient and easy to get to. The bed was comfortable and the place was peaceful and quiet. Very nice little home!
All was good.

Great location on the outskirts of town with easy parking. Cottage was well appointed and super cute. Caroline was lovely and easy to deal with and her Mums scones & pikelets were amazing. Loved all our extra goodies too thanks so much.

The Old Post House is a delightful place to spend time. The cottage was spotless, was well equipped and filled with homely touches and special treats for us. We were overwhelmed- biscuits, special drinks, homemade piklets and scones and jam as well as slippers and beautiful flowers. The view from the lounge was straight up the hill, the Jacobite train passed close by each morning and afternoon and it was a short walk to Neptunes Staircase - lovely walks along the old towpaths and interesting watching the boats and yachts go through the locks.

Great location, Caroline the owner was lovely and helpful. A lovely welcome tray and homemade scones and jam was great. Lovely fluffy towels and clean comfortable bed. Great views of The Ben from the terrace.

A little gem. Hostess Caroline was excellent, provided lovely little extras, homemade scones, jam, pancakes, Prosecco. Very welcome after 7hr journey. Super cottage, lovely decking area to sit out on and take in the scenery and watch the Jacobite steam train go by. Nothing was too much trouble. Had everything you vould need. Booked at first for a week, then extended to two. Would have stayed a third week if not booked! Close to Neptunes Staircase and Treasures of the Earth museum, both worth visiting. Will visit again.
Maybe a way to resite tv so not twisting when watching.

It was such a beautifully, homey welcoming place to stay for 3 nights. Beautiful, much appreciated touches including fresh flowers (after travelling for 3 weeks these were so lovely), fresh homemade scones, pikelets & jam & champers. Plenty of space for two & well appointed in the kitchen.

The house was fantastic. Clean, cozy, beautifully furnished, and prepared for us with attention to detail. Caroline, our host, was very friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The accommodation is located a little outside of Fort William, but is well connected to the city thanks to the nearby train station. For us, it was an all-around wonderful vacation.

The Old Post House has been tastefully renovated from its former life. It is finished to a very high standard, very thoughtfully decorated and equipped. Our host Caroline was incredible responsive to messages and very helpful on any questions I had. We also arrived to a lovely selection of treats included breakfast items, prosecco, beer, slippers and toiletries. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with utensils, cereal, coffee, tea etc. The outside decking area has amazing views to take in over an early morning coffee, and the bonus was seeing the Jacobite Steam Train passing by a few times. Excellent location to explore Ben Nevis and the Nevis range, as well as a stone's throw from Loch Ness. The Neptune's Staircase is worth a look as well as the Lochy pub for a Sunday roast. I would highly recommend the property and would definitely stay again if I was coming to the Highlands.
There is nothing we didn't like about the property or experience, and no suggestions that I could make to improve it.

The whole experience of staying in the Old Post House from start to finish was exceptional, Caroline had the most beautiful treats waiting for us, there was absolutely everything you could possibly need for a self catering break, spotlessly clean and well furnished, for us it was having on arrival fresh milk and tea/coffee, there was beautiful fresh flowers and home made scones, jam and cakes, prosecco, pringles and a lovely welcome card, Caroline even popped round to say hi and welcome, definitely the hostess with the mostess.
The cottage is in a great location with off road parking, amazing views and within distance of some lovely walks and restaurant and a short walk to the station so we did some lovely scenic train trips.

We had an excellent stay. The cottage was perfect - the location was excellent and had everything we needed. Caroline was an excellent host, she communicated very well before our arrival with directions etc. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and the additional touches like flowers and wine were very much appreciated.

The property is located in a quiet village just outside Fort William so you can easily access everything while still enjoying peace and quiet. The cottage has plenty of parking and great views. If you were so inclined you could sit outside and enjoy the quiet or have a barbecue on the supplied equipment.
All the appliances are high quality and work well. Likewise the furniture and linens. The welcome pack is genuinely special using locally sourced materials and it’s huge to the point that you could probably live for a few days on the supplied food and drink.
The bed is comfortable and you can sleep really well (full of beer, pancakes and scones from the welcome pack!)
It’s a really well thought out and appointed holiday cottage.
The 4G WiFi is slower than just using your mobile phone (and I brought my own 4G hotspot anyway) and in a cottage filled with high quality furniture, appliances and cookware the plastic handled bendy cutlery was oddly out of place.

I planned a week in Scotland to celebrate my wife's birthday. Caroline went above and beyond making sure my wife had the best welcome. We were greeted with Happy birthday banner, flowers, prosecco, balloons and cupcakes. I was not expecting that at all. My wife was surprised and very happy. Thank you Caroline! I am very grateful. Now about the accommodation. The house smells so good, it's very clean. The bed is so comfortable. It has every single thing you will ever need. The cupboards are stocked up with breakfast cereals, tea and coffee. The fridge already has milk, beers and water. It has a washing machine and laundry powder as well. The toilet is clean and there are shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The decking is so cute for an evening bbq, although we were out most of day which was a shame. The best part is waking up to the sight of the Mighty Ben Nevis. Right from the comfort of the bed. The location is also great because it is so close to the town, the old boat of Caol, the Neptune stairs, and of course Ben Nevis. Best accommodation and Best host. I highly recommend this place. We are definitely coming back
Nothing. We loved everything
