Everything, including having a wee garden.

Only the initial difficulty in finding. It were 5a, not 5, and without the photographs, the verbal directions would not have cut it.

Wee House Review

Hard to find at first, but it was pitch black when we arrived. Owner was helping in guiding us. Comfortable clean, warm, and practical.

Hot water cut out to cold a few times while showering. Biggest issue was the Internet. I got max 1MB, so working over Teams and general searching was a real pain.

Didn’t stay. Wasn’t suitable

Liked the photos and description on line.

The directions were terrible. Handy if you have. A compass to hand. Didn’t expect it to be in the middle of a council or ex council housing scheme. We chose not to stay. The neighbour had washing hanging over the shared fences. The location was not nice and the lane to it had lots of weeds and wasn’t well cared for. Phoned the managers number but no answer and call disconnected. My husband has mobility issues and the toilet was down a steep staircase from bedroom.

Wee bit lovely

It was very well appointed with everything we needed and was well located for a coop for food. We just missed the chippy which shut at 9pm. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It has a very nice telly. The shower was great. The pod coffee maker was also well appreciated. The manager was very helpful when we got a little lost finding the place (follow the post code on sat nav, park on the big car park it takes you to in the middle of a council estate, then head towards the pine tree on the corner. It’s in the properties garden).

It was further away from Fort William than I had expected. Not really walkable after a long day in the hills. I should have figured this out based on the location provided. It was a little difficult to find, probably as I hadn’t noticed the email that the manager had sent me. My fault.

Perfect near Fort William

Looks pretty, clean and confortable. Very well equiped. We stayed there for 2 nights with our daughter of 6. Instructions to get there were very clear.

Great stop for a few days.

Clean and newly refurbished. It was a diamond in a fairly honest working class neighbourhood. We had a car so no issue with location. Had everything wee needed to recharge at the half way mark of a 5 week trip.

nice bathroom. I’m afraid the location just spoiled it for us.

the location was a great disappointment and felt bedding and towels greatly needed upgrading. one towel even had bleach stains on it. not used to that.

Clean and beautiful but insufficient hot water for the boiler.

Very clean, can see the ower put a lot effort on the decorations, it is beautiful and comfortable. There's kitchen, washing machine and fridge, so convenient for a family. The owner always responded very quick when we send him message.

After the kids took shower(they take around 10-15mins in total) , there's no hot water for whole house. (Shower and kitchen)The owner said the boiler is still functioning, we had to wait for the boiler boil the water again. But we wait from 9 to 12, the water still cold. And we have to take shower at the morning.

Not the worst but but the best

It was a decent size and had everything you might need. The host was so lovely, very welcoming.

The sofa bed couldn't be slept on because it was far too uncomfortable and didn't feel sturdy enough. The towels were really small, the fridge and shower were dirty and the skirting boards were dusty. As we pulled up we were shocked that it was actually in the middle of a housing estate. We very nearly booked somewhere else instead of checking in

Comfortablle- ideal if you’re out mostly and just need a bed and a kitchen.

Clean rooms and the kitchen had everything you would need. Comfortable bed. Nice and quiet- ideal for family with children.

The front door could do with a blind. For people sleeping on the sofa bed the light came in at 4 am and we had to put bin liners over the window to keep light out.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped property in a handy location.

The property was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We were attending a function in the community centre which was a 2 minutes walk away so very convenient for us. I also liked the fact I could only book for 1 night and not restricted to 3 or 7 day rental.

A bit awkward to find. I received more detailed directions and entry details a few hours before checkin time which I didn’t see as I was travelling. would have been useful to get earlier as they helped

Quirky clean and comfy. Well equipped and nicely furnished. Lovely outside paved area which is private with table/benches. Very near canal and nice walks. Local facilities include COOP and take ways. On bus route to town.

Awesome stay, beautiful tiny home, had everything we needed.

The location was perfect for us as we were hiking Ben Nevis as well as checking out the surrounding area by car. The upstairs bed was gorgeous and the whole house well kept and clean.

Downstairs sofa bed was uncomfortable, and the street light outside shone through the front door. Wifi also didn't work.

Not the cleanest

The flat/wee house itself was a comfortable layout for a 2 nights stay.

Upon arrival, I phoned the accommodation owner to say we had arrived in the car park stated but couldn't find the flat (the directions on the email weren't the best). Finally found the flat after phoning the owner, but the owner wasn't the most helpful and to be honest seemed like we was bothering him. When we got into the flat it was nice, however there was hairs left in the shower, on the floor of the shower/toilet room. Not the cleanest so was very disappointed. The seats at the table in the seating area had stains on them - something that could have been easily covered with seat covers. Doesn't seem like there was much pride taken with the cleanliness / appearance of the flat.

Fantastic Stay

House is completely decked out with all the amenities and is in a quiet area just outside of Fort William and in a private neighbourhood location. Short walk to the local pub and also a Co-op. Was perfect for an overnight getaway while visiting neighbouring towns and tourist attractions. Would comfortably stay here longer as it is spacious for a couple traveling. Easy check in and good communication with the owner.

The house was decorated really well, they had clearly spent time and money doing it up. The kitchen was well equipped.

The towels were too small and smelt abit musty. The view from the property was not good as the house is in the middle of a housing estate. The neighbours garden was a mess with bikes and toys everywhere which did spoil the little view we had of Ben Nevis. The car parking was a joke - wheelie bins left in our patking space along with builders bags full of sand and also being blocked in by the neighbours.

Reasonably spacious and airy for two people. No problem with access. Convenient to shops and area attractions. Large and comfortable bed. Good shower.

It is on an estate so a bit seedy to approach but neighbourhood surprisingly quiet.

Excellent, I would recommend to others to give it a try.

The accommodation was very clean, bright and airy. Having an outside space where you could sit in the good weather was a bonus and the garden was private. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything you would expect. The host kindly put in fresh flowers which was a lovely additional touch.

The property is in a rural housing estate which is not really where you would expect a holiday property but this shouldn't put anyone off. The bonus is there are amenities close by eg supermarket, Post office, etc.

The property is a bit hard to find and surrounded by many other houses in an out of the way culdesac. The only other problem was that the wifi was very unreliable.

Great location just outside Fort William town centre. Beautiful little 1 bed house with a sofa bed in the living room. It was well equipped with everything you need and very modern. I stayed with my wife a 3 year old. It had a fully equipped kitchen and tea,coffee, washing liquid, shower gel etc etc. Nice patio garden with picnic bench. Was quiet and overlooked the mountains. The landlord sends directions and has put up signs to make it easy to find. Free wifi Highly recommended

This house and facilities were good what it doesn't say is that this is a house in a housing estate, the view is other peoples garden sheds and overlooked on all sides, really difficult to find also.

Nice place to stay but keep your bikes inside!

The property itself fairly modern and has plenty free parking space nearby. The bathroom and shower were great and the bed was very comfy.

The lighting in the bedroom was very poor. The sofa bed in the lounge felt like it had collapsed and made it uncomfortable to sit on. We were told before we arrived that they had ‘secure’ bike storage at the property only to find out when we arrived that this was actually a bike stand in the garden.

Good location for Neptune's Locks and we cycled into Fort William easily. Car parking handy too.

Light in bedroom was on/off, other lights made it OK but could be looked at and fixed.
