Cozy privacy in Fort William

This hut is so adorable! Cozy and comfy and so clean! You can tell the owners love to host because all the little touches were absolutely appreciated. And they were so kind to allow us to check in a few hours earlier than planned – after driving a long way, I was grateful for this, AND to be able to rest in such lovely accommodations. I would 1000% rebook a stay here, especially during the season when the train engine may be parked alongside the hut! (How cool is that??) We loved our stay! Don't hesitate to book!

One night in Fort Willam

Facility is unique, even quirkie and met our need to try something different. Our host has covered nearly all our needs.

There must be a secret to getting the TV to work. Using the taps, both over the sink and in the bathroom could be simpler.

We loved the location and Caroline was friendly and welcoming.

An ideal ‘one night stay’ if you are touring or travelling to the islands.

Clean, well laid out, surprisingly roomy, good shower/ toilet/kitchen facilities. Comfortable bed. Lovely location, short walk to Caledonian Canal and locks.

We enjoyed our stay was brief but comfortable.

The location was perfect as we were going up Ben Nevis and got a nice early start. We liked the fact also that we could sit outside and it felt very private. We also saw the Harry Potter train.

Nothing really the fridge was very small but that's expected in a shepherd's hut where everything is compact.

The Shepherd’s hut was perfect for our one night stay. It is small but perfectly formed. It has everything you need including a microwave which was great for heating our dinner. The fact that the “Hogworts Express” goes right past the garden was just a bonus.

Cosy, small but functional, outside seating provided, very pretty decorated. We walked to Neptune staircase.

Bed was a bit small. The hut is in an urban area, next to the house.

A perfect stay in a lovely cozy shepherd's hut in an ideal location.

Beautifully decorated, warm, cozy shepherd's hut in a perfect location to explore surrounding area near Fort William on my stop over on the way to Skye. Discreet, welcoming and helpful host who is easy to reach. Lovely added bonus of seeing the Jacobite Steam Train pass by right next to the hut. Lovely selection of quick easy breakfasts/cereal bars etc. Would love to stay again as perfect for one or two people and also for a longer stay. Many thanks again to Caroline.

Cosy accommodation in a great location. Easy to find. Clean and Welcoming. Nearby shops for any needed food. Breakfast items were also provided (Porridge, Biscuits, Teas, Coffees).

Caroline was very kind and the hut was cute, tidy, clean and well equipped. We even got to see the Jacobites train passing infront of the hut which was really cool!

Probaby the cosiest place in Fort William

We enjoyed every second in this beautiful and cozy Shepherda Hut! It has everything for an awsome stay in Fort William: a comfy bed, a hot shower, a water cooker, a microwave, a TV and breakfast snacks. The hut is very clean and tidy and there is put so much love into every detail. On top of that Caroline is incredibly nice and was always helping us, when we needed something! This was one of our most favorite stays during our Scottland trip! 150% recommended!

A gorgeous little hut, 100% recommend

The hut was absolutely gorgeous! It was much more spacious that we expected, with under floor heating, usb plugs, a great shower and super comfortable bed! We loved it and wished we had booked for more than one night! We also walked for 30 mins along the canal to a lovely local pub with food typical pub food.

Caroline was so nice to greet us and introduce the hut to us. We had a lovely view of Ben Nevis and manage to catch the trains passing by the railway track. The hut itself has heated flooring, gd spacious toilet. Lots of snacks n comfortable bedding. A great value for money place to explore Mallaig, Fort William, Glennfinian & Glencoe with lots of nearby food options.

we absolutely loved how well equipped the hut was. It has everything including plates/glasses/cutlery which is nice as a couple of nights we wanted to eat in. Smart tv great for Netflix etc. Heating was excellent we never went cold. It had a really nice cosy home feel to it.
