Per Ardua Shepherds Hut

Loved the location. We stayed just one night on our way up to the Outer Hebrides. The hut is small but perfect for a one night stay. It was spotlessly clean. Nice comfy bed if a little on the cozy side when you're used to a king size 😂. Great bathroom, amazingly powerful hairdryer. Caroline, the host is fantastic with communication, I had a few questions prior to arriving and she answered more or less straight away, even giving us the heads up on the weather 😀. Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided along with a carton of orange juice which was very welcome at breakfast the following morning. The hut backs onto the railway so it's great for Harry Potter fans as the Hogwarts Express (Jacobite steam train) goes past at regular times and is literally just a few feet away.

Nothing we didn't like but a hint to those who are thinking of cooking there's only a microwave provided so we nipped out to Caol for fish and chips.

Absolutely adored our stay in this cabin, our only regret is that was couldn’t stay longer! Great location, immaculately presented, lovely host who came over when we arrived and walked us through everything. Got to see the train at the bottom of the garden which was a bonus! Cant fault this place at all, the shower was fantastic, the cabin had everything you could possibly need (would be nice to have recycling option though not just one bin), bed super comfy. I have absolutely no doubt we will book again when we next visit Scotland. Thank you!
