Taorbeag is a beautiful property, walking distance to Corpach and facilities (shop,bar etc) very close to Caledonian Canal...a lovely spot with stunning views of Nevis Range....would recommend for couples ....hosts (Carole and John) are close by and very helpful and friendly

Lovely cottage for a family or 2 couples to enjoy the Fort William area

The pictures on Booking.com don’t do this lovely property justice. Stylish, comfortable, clean and cozy cottage within a few minutes walk from Neptune’s Staircase. It had everything you could need for self-catering and a lovely view of Ben Nevis from the lounge roof window. Definitely recommend.

Perfect base for highland adventures

Perfect location for our climb up Ben Nevis (which, when clear, you can see out the window) and exploring the stunning Lochaber Geopark. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and had absolutely everything needed to prepare our meals. It's actually located in a smaller village called Banavie, about 5-10 mins from Fort William, with a canal and set of lochs immediately across the road which provides a pleasant walk immediately from the front door.

Nothing to do with the property itself but if you don't know the area, Fort William is a fairly large and industrial area. It was absolutely fine for us as within a very short drive you are back in unspoilt Scottish Highlands. However if you are looking for a small, quaint village and don't want to drive once you've arrived it might not be your ideal location. As mentioned however the property was slightly out of the main town, but still in a fairly built up area.

Het huisje is heel gezellig ingericht, met de living boven waardoor je veel uitzicht hebt, en het ligt in een rustige buurt, vlakbij het station van banavie en het moorings hotel waar je een lekker drankje kan drinken met zicht op de ben nevis. Het huis is voorzien van alle comfort en heeft zelfs een "alexa" ter beschikking.

Het 2 persoons bed was erg hard. De bank en stoelen waren erg laag. Kleine koelkast. Boven was het erg warm terwijl de verwarming uit stond.

Un lugar agradable y tranquilo como base para recorrer las Highlands

La casa es muy acogedora. Está en un sitio excelente, si vas a recorrer la zona. Desde las ventanas de la planta superior se ve el monte Ben Nevis. Está muy bien montada, es cómoda. Nos gustó la distribución de la casa. Puedes aparcar junto a la puerta de la casa. Tiene todo lo necesario en cuanto a menaje de cocina y baño. Nos dejaron una botella de vino y unas pastas de bienvenida. Si volvemos a ir por la zona repetiremos.

Por poner alguna pega. Si llegas de noche hay una luz en el lateral que se enciende con el movimiento, pero podrían poner una igual encima de la puerta de entrada, por que no se ve nada, y teníamos que usar la linterna del móvil. El agua de la ducha salía demasiado caliente, y no podíamos bajarla mas. Pero ya digo por decir algo, por que nos ha gustado mucho.
