Scenic, very quiet and comfortable.

Great location for access to shops, restaurants and day trips. Smart property, easy parking, felt safe. Kind and friendly hosts - lots of helpful local information. Welcome hamper nice touch.

Would highly recommend staying at Balcarres Self Catering when staying in Fort William.

The self catering apartment was well equiped with everything we needed and the host had left us a self catered breakfast of lovely croissants, condiments, orange juice as well as tea and coffee. It was well located as we could easily walk into town. Lovely view from the apartment and the gardens of the Loch especially at sunset.

Great flat!

The flat is really clean, cosy and well-equipped. We were impressed by all the appliances available in the kitchen and other rooms. Great for cooking. The living room is comfy with a nice view on the loch and mountains. It a nice place to rest and have a night in with lots of options to screen casting as well. The little book with addresses to eat, go out and hikes to do in the area was super helpful.

The living room decoration is a bit outdated but still works. Nothing else really.

Just wonderful. Hosts very helpful and showcased the area beautifully. Laundry service was very helpful and greatly appreciated. Self catering unit was brilliant, even loved the welcome pack, Ever was just great.

It was a very comfortable and cosy property! It was clean and well stocked with amenities. The hosts were very lovely and their guest book was incredibly helpful with instructions for the property as well as a big list of things to do in the area!

Self catering, clean, tidy, cosy. Provided with a welcome hamper with the necessities. Located off the main road so quiet and peaceful, with a great view of the loch. Great location as a base for visiting the surrounding areas.

What a Gem!!!....A stunning apartment in a stunning location....Much nicer than the Web photos showed...Host was extremely helpful and available throughout our stay if needed, we arrived slightly earlier than planned and were welcomed in.... all rooms were clean and welcoming and well stocked for our stay a lovely welcome basket of food left to set us off...The views were amazing from both our living room and bedroom with loch views, Stunning!!!...carpark had adequate parking spaces for all guests...very well located to town centre and amenities....fab local information in the visitors welcome pack.... The hosts were a lovely couple...we would not hesitate to return and have already recommended to others... Thankyou to our hosts!!!

Place itself excellent but a few minor adjustments needed to make the stay more homely in the winter

Lovely location and view.

No poo bins allocated for those with dogs. No lights on driveway early morning and was pitch black for taking dog out. Dangerous too with lots of pot holes. Couldn't control heating, was very cold at times as obviously controlled by owners who live upstairs
