Crown Hotel

Checking in in front of several patrons at the bar.

The en-suite room was lovely and had a comfy sofa as well as 2 beds. They provided bottled water and biscuits with the tea and coffee tray. There were books on the shelf to read. Windows can open. Breakfast included. Dinner available. Liked the menu. Key to Separate entrance to access rooms when pub is closed. Useful to bring bags upstairs without going through busy pub. Lovely little town/village. Pay &display carpark directly across the road (free 6pm -8am)

(Observation rather than dislike) Entry to pub was busy when we first arrived to check in at the bar. Two rooms have an extra couple of steep stairs after the main flight. A short handrail would be beneficial coming down these for some people.

Very friendly staff and lovely, well priced food. Located right in the centre of Pateley Bridge and close to many beautiful villages and countryside.

There was a band on and our room was directly above it so it was quite noisy. They finished by 11pm though.

We REALLY enjoyed this hotel. Lift there by our daughter & SIL in their camper van. Expected basically hotel but it was brilliant in every way. All the staff were friendly in a natural way. Loved Patley Bridge generally. Would love to return but as oldies we need a lift there. Hopefully persuade our family to get us back there. Have already recommend hotel to 2 other couples.
