Talbot House Bed & Breakfast and Tearoom

We booked a small double as that was all that was left thinking the bed was small. No the bed was two 3ft singles pushed together so massive. Might not suit everyone but we literally didn’t notice the difference. The room wasn’t big but had a settee to sit on at the window with fabulous view. We actually spent more time in there than we would normally because we went on a walk, not always long, then in local pub for a fair few, meal, then back to the room. WFI was good too. The shower was really big, the towels were big and fluffy and got changed after 3 days if you wanted them or not. Fresh tea bags (yesss me) milk, coffee and biscuits (yessss him) everyday (and big cups 👍). The breakfasts were fabulous, thanks Steve, plus sandwiches if you’re passing, which fill your boots. Maria and Steve were excellent hosts thank you so much.

We didn’t stay longer.

The hotel staff work hard to make you feel comfortable. Excellent breakfast with lots of options. So yummy! Room was comfortable and located right in the middle of the best of Pateley Bridge. Quaint and beautiful BNB.

It was perfect!

Greeted at the property by the owner. Storage for cycles. Homely atmosphere, great breakfast, bang in the heart of the village.

Nothing to dislike.

A period building in a central location providing me with a very compact bedroom.

A missing button cover to the dated shower unit on/off switch could be an electricity safety concern.
