Delightful helpful staff, great beer, Theakstons. Comforatable room. Terrific shower. Good breakfast in room with a lovely view.
Rather underwhelmed by the quality of the supper. The 'Wellie' burger was homogenous, rubbery and lacking in flavour. I wouldn't put my name to it if I was the pub! Why so much batter on the accompanying onion rings? Why bother with onion rings at all , if the burger was a proper minced steak , with a well constructed salad and small good quality fries.
