Cosy and quiet

Cosy, private and quiet with super friendly hosts! Provided muffins and fresh eggs from their own chickens for us to make our breakfast in the morning too it was all around lovely and I will be 100% booking again!

Safe and Super Comfortable

The videos provided were exceptionally good however, we arrived after dark and the entrance to the property was not clear to us. It would have been helpful to know that we should park in the car lot on the side of the property and enter at the rear of the property to access the rental lodging. This is the only suggestion I would make. Fortunately, the host were available and provided verbal instructions.

This is an awesome lodging for a solo traveler or a couple. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Andy was extremely responsive to any and all request! I would definitely stay at this lodging again!!

Great stay at the Private Annex

It was a lovely little apartment, nice and clean with good facilities and a friendly helpful host. I suggested an air fryer could be a positive addition. Things to be aware of...it's a hilly area so if you want to walk to town it's an uphill return journey and parking is a little tight.

There was nothing not to like, it's a nice apartment ideal for a couple of solo traveller.

Lovely space, and a short walk into Todmorden. Andy gave us free eggs and muffins which were absolutely delicious. We thought this was a very nice touch.

A beautiful place for my stay in the valley.

This was an absolutely excellent accommodation which I highly recommend. It was a really generous space in the annex of a beautiful house. The space was newly decorated with a lovely bathroom and kitchen area. I enjoyed meeting the host's lovely family and was delighted with the muffins and fresh milk generously provided. It was as clean and neat as a pin.

Friendly and thoughtful hosts who communicated clearly and in advance everything we needed to know. Lovely, well laid out and clean space tastefully furnished. Easy walking distance to restaurants and bars and a very friendly and lovely dog.

We should have asked how to open the gate before the hosts left for the evening as we struggled a bit to figure that out when we got back.

Lovely place to stay, great location, very welcoming.

Really great location, very easy to walk in to town. It was great to have such a well set out compact cosy space with everything we needed. Host was really helpful with advice on places to eat and very friendly. We had a lovely time staying here and I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you.

Lovely comfortable place ideal for visiting the area

Excellent little place with friendly hosts, nice to have cooking facilities and travel cot set up ready. We also enjoyed meeting the chickens who layed our eggs :)

Very comfortable room, centrally located for town amenities

The annex is a smashing little property, host (Andy) met us when we arrived with the key, there was a pint of milk in the fridge along with a couple of eggs and muffins for breakfast. Bed was comfy and it was spotless. Great location only 10 minute walk from bus station and supermarket (though walking up that hill on the way back pulled on the hamstrings!). We'd chosen Todmorden for proximity to a couple of places we wanted to visit (Singing Ringing Tree and Pendle area) and it was perfect

This isn't a dislike, but the private parking at the back of the property was a bit of a tight squeeze when/if the host's vehicle was also there, but there's sufficient on street parking so when we went out in the car the next day, we left our car on the street on our return

Peaceful short stay

Andy was there to meet us on arrival, explained everything and gave suggestions of places to eat. Really friendly and accomodating. It's so peaceful and although the annexe is small it has everything you need for a short stay. The eggs from the rescue hens, English muffins and oat milk were a lovely touch. Location was perfect, 15 min walk to Tod and it's so peaceful.

No toiletries other than hand wash, but it's our own fault as we didn't check beforehand.

Help videos from the owner were excellent. Very helpful and cheerful on the phone and very prompt to get back to me.

Parking area was a bit small. not so bad to get in but difficult to get out of and a tree covered my car with debris. Not a big deal in the great scheme of things.

Andy is a lovely, friendly host. He met us at the property at check-in and told us everything we needed to know. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable and the facilities were fantastic. The eggs and muffins were a lovely touch, too. I’m sure we’ll be back!

lovely quiet location, private as we rarely saw the hosts. Plenty of space in the bedroom, good sized en-suite and kitchen. Clean good sized and comfortable bed. The extras in the kitchen where great, fresh coffee and the fresh eggs and muffins where such a great touch.

there’s nothing we didn’t like, just a couple of suggests. the bathroom tap is little loose and a lovely plant on the windowsill to match those in the main area would be lovely. there’s probably no need for a table in the kitchen and the bedroom area. You could have one table in the living area as it has the views to the garden and then the fridge could be in the kitchen. The cafetière had a leak, we couldn’t figure out from where but having it was a lovely surprise and we really enjoyed the fresh coffee…Thank you! these are only suggestions as we did rally enjoy our stay, we’ll recommend and be back if in the area.

Very friendly and helpful owner, kitchen area was good and a nice breakfast provided on the first morning.

Towels were too small and not soft, no relaxed seating area, shower leaked, mold in bathroom and cold room when arrived.

A lovely stay in a lovely little place.

Had such a nice stay for two nights. On arrival we had fresh eggs and muffins left for us and a pint of milk which was such a lovely touch. A very cosy room and a comfortable bed. Nice hot shower with towels provided. The little kitchen has everything you need in it. Extremely quiet, warm and felt very safe during our stay. There is car parking and a private entrance. Andy was very welcoming and we would definitely go back to stay again. Thank you!
