Very smart, fantastic location which made it so easy to get to all Fringe venues
The fact that you couldn’t secure the main front door. You actually didn’t need a key to get into the building - all you had to do was push the door open. We went to great lengths to ‘pretend’ to be unlocking the door when we came home, for the sake of security.
All facilities were brilliant apart from the flow of water from the tap in the small cloakroom. It is barely a trickle, which is a nuisance.

Location is fabulous, lovely character apartment, well equipped, very clean and the host was very accommodating when we asked if we could check in early. Mary kept us up to date with regards to our queries, very helpful
I booked the apartment which was advertised on Booking.com as 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms when in fact its 1 bathroom with a separate toilet. I was expecting 2 separate bathrooms.

Close to castle tour and shopping/restaurants.Kitchen and bathrooms were upgraded.
We had rented a car. On the booking.com website it says there is parking. If you look at the questions it says it has parking for a fee. These comments are extremely misleading as the parking is over a half mile away down the hill and is about $50 per day. Letting me know by text the day before arrival rather than posting those facts clearly on the listing is not very professional.
