The second floor features two bedrooms, a full bathroom, and the main living area. Upstairs, the third floor offers a private primary bedroom suite with an upscale bathroom, along with two additional bedrooms and a shared hall bathroom.

The outdoor spaces have received special attention, creating even more opportunities to enjoy your time at the beach. The backyard features upgraded landscaping and an inviting firepit area, perfect for gathering with family and friends in the evening. A large front deck offers a glimpse of Delaware Bay, while the rear patio provides additional outdoor seating. An outdoor shower with a separate changing area, conveniently located beneath the house in the parking area, makes rinsing off after the beach easy.
There is plenty to keep everyone entertained during your stay, including games and recreational equipment. Bikes and kayaks are available for guest use, providing fun ways to explore the surrounding area. All provided equipment must be used at the guests' own risk.

Delaware Bay & Ferry Views: The Cape May–Lewes Ferry Terminal is nearby, and the ferries can be watched from the Cape Shores fishing pier.
Historic Downtown Lewes: Just three miles away, downtown Lewes offers charming boutiques, excellent restaurants, and historic attractions along Second Street.
With off-street parking for up to six vehicles, there is plenty of room for family and friends to arrive together and enjoy their stay.

Community Pool: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pool bands are not required for entry. Per HOA rules and regulations, access outside these hours is reserved for homeowners with a designated pool fob.
Optional Linen Package: Available for $305.75 for a one-week stay.

Second Floor- 1 bunk bed with trundle, 1 queen bed, 1 queen sleeper sofa
Third Floor- 1 king bed, 2 twin beds, 1 queen bed
All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

We loved the amenities like four bicycles we could use with helmets, beach chairs, boogie boards, and outdoor shower. Plenty of items and gadgets in the kitchen for making meals etc. Short walk to the beach. We didn't end up using the pool but it looked nice. The water dispenser wasn't working when we arrived, but maintenance showed up the next day to replace the filter and get it working. It was very clean when we arrived.

This was our second time vacationing at this beach house. While it was beautiful and perfect for our needs with a pool and bay nearby, the house needed some attention. The icemaker wasn't working in the freezer, the air conditioner upstairs broke while we were there, the hose outside was very leaky, and the door from the kitchen to the sunroom was very difficult to lock. My husband was very frustrated as if it were his home, he would've insured these things were fixed before other renters came to stay. Overall we would come back but would obviously love to not experience these inconveniences.

Smiles by the Sea is a fantastic house and a great location on Lewes Beach. We loved the Cape Shores community. We will definitely return.

The home was clean and lovely. However there were several issues we experienced. The biggest one was we had absolutely no hot water at all for our entire trip. When we called the after hours line at 6am when we realized that they said it was not emergent so they declined trying to get a hold of the agent servicing the property. After much frustration- we finally got thru the agents. They were helpful from that point forward but there was no resolution and the entire house, which was 9-10 women - had no hot water to shower in. That was extremely disappointing and while I know it’s first world problems - that should have been addressed immediately or offered compensation for the extreme inconvenience. We thought of leaving but accommodations for a party of 10 is nearly impossible same day- so we stayed and had to use the neighboring house shower to clean up.
