About this house rental
Rental properties like this just don't exist on Lewes Beach! We rented for years and could never find what we were looking for - a nice home large enough to accommodate multiple families. So we built one and gave it everything you would want in a beach rental. The house has 5 bedrooms: 3 masters with king beds, 1 with two queens and a bunk room that can sleep 6 kids. There are 3 separate living areas in the home, giving plenty of space to spread out. 6 different outdoor spaces are available on the ample porches throughout the house including a dining table that seats 8-10, two screened porches, a sleeping porch with a hanging bed, and an outdoor shower. The home is a very short block back from the beach. In just 2 minutes you are on a beautiful and private part of Lewes beach which faces the Delaware Bay. Appointed with beautiful furnishings and all the conveniences of a modern home, you will find everything needed for a beach vacation. The home is ready for 4 seasons of enjoyment. A fireplace, puzzle table and plenty of indoor spaces with great natural light make for a fun and cozy retreat in the off season.
The layout is an upside house with the main living areas on the 2nd floor and bedrooms on the 1st. The kitchen is equipped with modern appliances including a bar, wine/beverage center and ice maker. Another refrigerator is located on the 1st floor for additional drink and food storage and convenience for loading coolers for the beach. The kitchen seats 14 people for dining. The home has 2 master bathrooms with large custom tiled glass enclosed showers, a Jack and Jill bath and a fourth full bath. There is a powder room on the 2nd floor. The home has cable, wireless internet and Netflix access.
A nice walk or short bike ride will take you into the charming town of Lewes where you can enjoy shopping and dining at one of Lewes' many wonderful restaurants. The home is close to a myriad of biking and hiking options including Henlopen State Park, Gordons Pond Trail, and the Lewes to Rehoboth bike path.
We built this home for our own family and friends but hope to share with others looking for the same Lewes experience our family has enjoyed for years.
Pet Policy - We love pets and will consider allowing you to bring your dog along on your vacation (absolutely no cats). Just message us the details about your pup (animal type, breed, etc.) and will let you know if they will be allowed.
Please note that we rent Friday to Friday during the summer.

The location is lovely; so close to the beaches and downtown Lewes! The layout of the house was wonderful. There was plenty of space for all of us to spread out. The kitchen was very well equipped. This was a wonderful place to relax and visit with friends and family.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. A place the whole family could gather for a week at the beach. I grew up going to Lewes beach. I love the small more private beach that you get here. The house itself was perfection!! No detail left undone. We had an issue with a door lock and the owners had it fixed the same day. The kitchen had everything you could need. My mom got to brew her keurig coffee and I got to brew mine. Love you have both options!! The separate ice maker was a big hit with our group. The only suggestion I would offer is to put in a full length mirror somewhere. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home!!!
