Large Villa - Private Pool - 6 Bedrooms

The property was amazing. It is a very modern and private villa in a great location, the air conditioning worked brilliantly with air con in every bedroom, all rooms and bathrooms are good and modern and the kitchen/ living room was perfect for a big group and Nadini went the extra mile as she had drinks ready for us in the fridge on our arrival as well as bottles of spirits. As a big group it was the perfect villa with a big private pool, sun loungers and Nadini even provided beach towels which we could take out of the villa. Nadini was a brilliant host and looked after us from the minute we got out of the taxi! Communication was brilliant and she told us about everything that was going on in Albufeira and helped get us deals on events.

The pool area wasn’t clean when we arrived. We had no hot water for 2 days as we were told the lack of sun meant the water couldn’t be heated. Sounds like a lame excuse and there should be a back-up plan for when there is no sun. I decided to try the hot tub on the 2nd night. Pulled the cover back and went to feel the water temperature. Got a really bad electric shock off the water. Nadine said she would send someone out to look at it. He came out the next day and just switched off and said that an electrician wasn’t working that day and it would be fixed sometime. Really disappointed by the attitude of the handyman with regards to the hot water too. He just said there’s nothing he can do and laughed because there was no sun. Feel really let down about the whole experience. We had gone out for a friend’s birthday and it could (and should) have been so much better. I wait to hear from the owner. I dread to think what would have happened if one of us had just jumped in the hot tub without me checking the water. Really think it would have killed a child.
