Newly built rustic cabin with 2 bed rooms (3 queens beds ) 2 full bath room. Nicely done kitchen fully equipped with all your needs . Dinning room table that seats 6 . Heating and cooling. Large outside covered deck with wood burning stove for those cool evenings . 1/2 mile to the beautiful Nueces river for swimming, grilling and kayaking

I have stayed in Campwood so many times and this was the first time I’ve had the opportunity to rent this specific cabin, it unexpectedly exceeded our expectations and met every need of ours to feel at home away from home!! I will 100% be looking forward to staying here more in the future, and sharing with all my friends and family!

Its a very nice compact cabin for upto 6 people. Nice private back and front proch, short walk to the local store. Good location short distance from the river. We liked to go to the small country road bridge 3 min drive or 15 min walk where access is free and less crowded. Only "better if" comment would be the internal soundproofing of the bedrooms... The door between living room and bedroom doesn't do much to soundproof from the TV if your teenagers decide to stay up unitl 2 am while you are trying to sleep.. but I thats just an FYI, overall its really very nice

The cabin is very nice, country feel, we didn't use the back porch and fire place but would be a nice spot to sit and look at the stars and roast marshmallows. Its very close to the quince for a dip in the water. The only issue was the lock box was a little frustrating to work with. Also the bedroom doors are barn doors so they don't lock. But we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend staying here.

We have been coming to “The Cabin” (as my family calls it) for about 4 years already. We love going to the local river to unwind throughout the year! We have tried different properties and hotels around town. NOBODY comes close to this property! From the having your own privacy, amazing cabin decor, and great communication with the owner. Every experience has been amazing! Our favorite part is using the amazing outside fireplace for smoores under the stars at night! Very quiet and peaceful! I love grilling and they have a great up to date bbq pit. Sitting outside in the morning with a cup of coffee is great on the backyard deck. Beds are comfy! They have everything needed to cook homemade foods.fridge is spacious.washers and dryers work great!There’s zero complaints!If you’re on the fence about booking, look no further. This is your sign to book now!

An old friend and I stayed at this cabin during a 4-day Axis hunt near Camp Wood. The cabin was perfect for this trip. Making my final payment and getting check-in information turned out to be difficult. Otherwise, a great stay.

This cabin is only 2 minutes from the river, perfect location to access Los Rios Campground. The cabin is super cute, clean, and has all the amenities needed to a weekend getaway. The only thing that I would say is that 4 adults cannot sleep on the bunk beds. The top bunk is not very stable and makes a lot of noise when someone moves or readjusts. It’s also very hard to access the top bunk, my son fell from it trying to get up and down. I think if that were addressed, it would be perfect. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

We had some friends from out of state come visit and we arranged for them to stay here!! It was perfect for us all especially because our home is next door, and they loved the rental layout, the decor and how quaint it is!!!!! I highly recommend this cabin for a quick getaway or quick vacation!!!!!

New cabin in town with quiet neighbors away from the noisy campgrounds. Everything new and clean, dishes for cooking and a bbq grill for grilling. Cold AC and comfortable beds. Nice big covered back porch, a 3 minute drive to the Quince.

The 11 minute walk to the river was a conundrum. We looked all over for the river close to the cabin and didn’t find anything. That’s my only complaint.

This 2/2 was perfect for our family of 4! We travel to Campwood every year and it just gets better and better. There was a BBQ pit and nice fire grill out back for smores or BBQ dinner. The house had everything we needed, including the most comfortable beds! It was beautiful to wake up to tons of cardinals out on the porch. The only thing we did not get ahead of time was the key lockbox code, but that was quickly fixed with a call from the property owner. Overall, they get a 5 star!

Loved staying in this cute place. Full kitchen with everything you need for cook indoors and outdoors. Only down fall is the Hot and cold water in the shower need to be repaired. Your shower will only be really HOT or really COLD. That’s. It a deal breaker for me, I will stay here again. My family loved it!

The cabin was better than I anticipated, it was well maintained and beautifully furnished. A nice rear porch with a barbecue pit and wood burning stove was great for enjoying conversations and preparing meals. I'll definitely be returning here in the future.
