This beautiful and pristine, private access property has incredible views of the Texas Hill Country - that can be seen from every window of the home. The property is surrounded by tall canopy's of beautiful Oak trees - providing the perfect shade for that afternoon siesta or nap.
Each bedroom has new comfortable mattresses - wrapped comfortably with cotton linens. There is a full kitchen with refrigerator/freezer, stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker and other modern appliances to make you feel right at home. A new central air & heat system is sure to keep you cool and warm year round. The floor plan is open and lends itself wonderfully to entertaining guests.
Outside, there is a barbecue pit/smoker - along with a firepit for those air-cooled star-lit nights. (please bring charcoal and wood) The fenced (kid friendly) backyard includes a swing for two and a swing for one that are nestled under a large Oak tree that overlook the majestic hilltops. The backyard is lit with cafe lighting to add to the nighttime ambiance.
The home is located on 10-acres - which also contains an *RV pad located approximately 100 yards from the main house. The RV pad comes fully equipped with electrical hook-up, (20-50 amp) water and sewage. *PLEASE NOTE: The RV pad rental is a separate rental fee. (Please inquire with the host for pricing.)
The property has river access. The beautiful, natural spring-fed Nueces River is a short, 'rocky walk' from the property. Be sure to bring along your sneakers or hiking shoes in order to navigate the rocky terrain alongside the river. (PLEASE NOTE: A walk to the river is not suitable for the handicapped or the elderly)

Everything was perfect! Views are beautiful. My family had a great time. Felt like home away from home, nice and cozy. 5min walk to open river area. We would definitely stay here again

We have been staying at the Ranchito for several years, and it is clear why! The location is perfect! There is a gate to access the river which makes it ideal for smaller children. When you first get in, it is shallow-ish water, perfect for just sitting around the river with a canopy. However, all short walk upstream gets deep enough to swim and wade fish. The perfect water conditions. It is a quick drive into town for anything that we may have forgotten, which is seldom because Dawne has almost everything provided anyways! It is clean, super cozy, and a great place to unplug and make great memories!
