The location was convenient to Big Bend National Park and the views into Mexico were beautiful. Price was high considering it needs some work inside and out (broken floor tiles, uneven modeling, missing pickets, insect infestation in the bathroom).Owner of was communicative.

Great house. Solid, spacious and quiet with a big covered back porch and an amazing view. Right next to the resort and an easy mountain bike ride to the State Park trails and the airport trails. Manny was an excellent host. Hope to stay there again next year!

We loved sitting in the back yard knowing we were looking into Mexico as the sun set. It was beautiful! We built a fire, listened to our favorite Big Bend music and shared memories of our lifetimes. This house allowed all 10 of us to sleep comfortably. We never found a light switch in the downstairs bedroom at the back of the house - lucky we brought flashlights. Other than that and not enough hooks for towels when 4 people are sharing the bathroom, it was a great house. We would love to stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay so much. The view from the back porch was amazing. The house was perfect for 7 adults and we loved that it was pet friendly as we got to bring our dog along for his first big adventure. I would recommend this house to anyone coming to the area, especially if they need multiple bedrooms. It was great for relaxing after exploring the area during the day.

The pictures dont do the home and view justice. We had 4 adults and 6 kids (6-14 years) for Spring Break. We enjoyed the back porch over looking the Rio Grande. The house was clean and well-stocked. We recommend & would definitely stay again.

Property was perfect for 4 couples. The backyard views were incredible. Manny took care of an issue promptly and it was easy to get information from him prior to arrival. Property needs a little face lift, but it was great for making more memories as we viewed some of God's handiwork.

House was in the perfect location by the state park and not that far from the national park. It is fully stocked with everything we needed after long days of hiking. Close to the golf resort with cute restaurant and bar. The WiFi also worked really well which the teenagers appreciated. Wouldn’t recommend for travelers with little kids as the outdoor area had construction debris (wouldn’t recommend littles going to the area in general anyway) if your golfing it’s 2 blocks away If I ever head back that way would for sure stay again.

It is close to Big Bend State Park and the large back patio with a fire pit and great seating was a such a wonderful surprise. The view from the back patio was beautiful and we found ourselves out there every night enjoying it. We have already booked it again for next year!

The La Vista property was absolutely perfect. It’s very well situated to the resort if you want to play golf or enjoy the amenities there. The kitchen is well stocked in case you want to cook large meals. The lay out of the house is perfect for privacy and also for hanging out over a meal or games or enjoying the beautiful view on the back porch. I want to go back! Also, the owner is very quick to respond to inquiries (always within the hour, probably within minutes now that I think about it). Would stay there again for sure.

This is a wonderful vacation rental conveniently located between Big Bend National Park & Big Bend Ranch State Park. The house is very nice & spacious with all the amenities you could want. Easy check in & responsive host. The back patio is great for relaxing & enjoying the awesome Mountain Views, sunsets in the evening & star gazing at night. The drive through Big Bend Ranch State Park on FM 170 is an extremely scenic side trip. We had a very peaceful, relaxing stay which I highly recommend to others. Looking forward to returning next year!

The host responded almost immediately to our questions which was appreciated, great communication before and during our stay. We stayed for two nights, with a group of 4 adults and 5 children comfortably. The beds were comfortable and soft, the kitchen was spacious, but the absolute best part of this property is the gorgeous views from the back yard in the evening and mornings. Well worth it, and we would definitely stay again.

What a fantastic place!!! Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Visited for a friend's 50th bday. Only left the house once to go have a few drinks. Such a homey environment made extra special by the owners decorating the house for Christmas, even though we stayed mid-November. We absolutely loved our stay and would positively book again!!!

The photos of Manny's property doesn't do it justice. We were a party of six ranging from the age of 83 to two. The bedrooms upstairs were perfect for my family with young children. They are able to have their own space. The bedrooms downstairs were comfortable with awesome views of the mountains. The Rio Grande is a short walk from the property which was fun to explore. The fire pit made for a fun night of stargazing. The ghost town of Terlingua was nearby which was a surprising gem filled with restaurants and historical places to explore. Views of Big Bend NP surround the area but the actual entrance to the park itself (Maverick Junction) is about 45 minutes away. We had an issue with the internet connection, but the satellite TV worked. Overall, we had a great time and Manny was easy to work with and available whenever I had a question. If I am ever lucky enough to spend some time in the area again, I would definitely look at booking this beautiful home again.
