The beds, pillows & bedding were all very comfortable. The air conditioning was a pleasant surprise & we were very thankful to have it during the heatwave. It was sun watching the boats & ducks go by.
I didn’t realize it was a duplex. We heard some dishes being moved around or dropped on the other side, but overall it was quiet and not a huge deal.

The houseboat was in a lovely neighborhood. Our favorite time of the day was in the evening when boats would go by and we would wave. Such friendly people.

Travelling with family and staying in one large room I thought privacy would be an issue but because of the space and the curtains it wasn't an issue
It was very central to everything we wanted

We loved our stay on the houseboat. It was spacious and quiet and a great location, near vondelpark. Beds were comfortable, bathroom seems to have been newly remodeled. Great cozy sitting area that was perfect for reading and coffee by the canal. It was definitely the highlight of our European vacation!
The only thing that could use some improvement is the greenery around the gate area could be cut back a bit more to allow easier access to the gate and the bike rack. Also, it would have been nice to have a few extra plush towels available and also some paper towels. We bought some paper towels at the supermarket and left them for the houseboat.
