Dreamtime Houseboat

Fantastic location and a truly unique, local atmosphere. Staying on a houseboat really makes you feel like you’re experiencing Amsterdam — having your morning coffee while watching the swans and ducks outside was absolutely wonderful, and the neighbour’s cat occasionally stopping by made it even more charming. The area feels peaceful and safe, while still being a great base for exploring the city. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout, everything went very smoothly, and the houseboat was spotlessly clean and very well looked after.

The space is relatively small and largely shared between everyone staying there, so it might feel a little less comfortable for a longer stay. For a few days, however, it really wasn’t an issue for us, and considering all the advantages of the place, I wouldn’t see it as a significant downside.

Very good location, quite district, very special place on the channel, with water around. We met different birds, like swans, ducks, they all came to greet us. Was very interesting.

Quite expensive parking nearby but it is about all Amsterdam- better to travel without a car there.

Excellent place, near transport and restaurants. Very convenient for a family of four. Having boats pass right outside the window was so wonderfully weird.

Nothing really, everything checked out..

Quiet, spacious, quirky and perfect location.
