Great stay in Kotor Old Town

We had an amazing stay! The location was exceptional, right in the heart of the old town near the North Gate, which made it very convenient to reach the shopping mall and at the same time quieter than the South Gate area. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. It was much bigger and more spacious than expected, with plenty of room for 4 adults without ever feeling crowded. Above all, the host was outstanding – incredibly helpful from the very beginning. She shared all the necessary details, including a super handy video guide for the accommodation, arranged a taxi from the airport, and provided many useful local tips. Truly one of the best hosting experiences we’ve had. Highly recommended – we would definitely stay here again!

Important to mention this has nothing to do with the host or accommodation, both were excellent. Just a note for future visitors: on our very first day in the old town we encountered a pickpocket incident. Thankfully nothing serious, and everything felt safe for the rest of our stay. People in Kotor are very kind and helpful, but it’s good to stay aware of your surroundings.

Beautiful apartment in old town, amazing location

The location was amazing. I was worried about noise in the old town but the windows were double glazed and it wasn't a problem at all. Lovely apartment. It was great to have a washing machine and air conditioning. Our host Sasha was lovely and helpful.

A bit more kitchen equipment like a dishcloth and tea towel would be good.

Good location, but the apartment could benefit from some updates.

The location of the apartment is excellent for access to Kotor Beach ( 10 minute walk) and the Old Town.

The apartment has potential but could really use some attention. It feels quite tired and would benefit from redecoration. Only two rooms have air conditioning, so one person had to sleep in the living room, which wasn’t ideal. Cleanliness could be improved, and the beds weren’t very comfortable. Lamps are needed in both the bedroom and living room to make the space feel more welcoming. Finally the bathroom layout is also a very awkward — the washing machine is so close to the shower wall that it’s hard to sit properly on the toilet. With some updates and a little care, this apartment could offer a much better experience.

Amazing stay at such fabulous place

The location is located inside the old town and very closed to the steps to the observation deck on the mountain. It's also just one minute's walk to the north gate of old town.

We definitely enjoyed our stay here and will keep a fine memory of this stay!

There was a lot of space to accommodate my family of four. The location is definitely practical as it is inside the walled town, which is a great experience, but also because it is close to the northern gate that leads to places to park your car and a large supermarket. The landlord and landlady were very helpful and speak English well. We were here during low season and that really boosted the experience for us as we felt we were actually inhabiting this town.

I missed a bedside lamp, I guess this can easily be added. Next to that we felt the place could use some more colour. Now everything is really white and therefore it looks somewhat clinical. Maybe led light bulbs that offer warm light could also do the trick. Also, provide some kitchen towels, doing dishes without is inconvenient. However, these are all details and well meant advice to build up to excellence.

I have no complaints, although there are only stairs so if could be inconvenient for disabled people.
