Fantastic appaertment in a great location

The apartment was really lovely with everything that you could possibly want in a great location. The host Lydie gave us great arrival information and kept in touch at all times which was really helpful.

We liked everything but we like to recycle and there were lots of bins but no instructions also some instruction on the dishwasher would have helped .

Clean and perfectly located

This apartment is perfectly located for both the high and low town, with a short 10 minute walk to each. The host had added lots of thoughtful touches. There were many candles, toiletries and house spray around the place. We very much appreciated her environmental intentions. Eco products were found throughout the kitchen and bathrooms which is very important to us and lovely to see in holiday accommodations. The ceilings are very high. This strangely didn't add much character but it was very beautifully ornate and unusual. Entry was easy with Lydie's helpful instructions and the little roof terrace offered charming views over the Boulogne rooftops of an evening. The breakfast table was in front of enormous windows with views over the park and up the cute terraced street. All the beds were very comfortable and the shutters helped us sleep well too. The bedroom toilet is an additional installation and works on a noisy pump. On 2 occasions the flush stuck a little, which caused the pump to cycle unnecessarily while we were dropping off and woke us up with a great shock! Overall we were very happy with Lydie's apartment. It was spacious, immaculately clean and in a perfect location. The host also communicated quickly, which we appreciated. It was very good value for money.

A couple of recommendations would make it even better: there were 3 adults and 2 children on our booking and the sofa bed had not been made up so we had to do this on arrival. It wasn't a problem, but there were no instructions on where to find the bedding so we had to bother the host to ask about it. There was a 2 seater sofa which could fit 3 uncomfortably but there was not enough comfortable seating for everyone to sit together in the evening. There were only 2 matching wine glasses and 3 overall, which wouldn't have been enough for a group with more adults. It would have been extra helpful to have more than 1 bin bag for our stay. We filled the bin twice over 5 days, despite doing plenty of recycling and we couldn't work out where the recycling point was when we left.

Very nice appartment, well equipped, very comfortable beds, quiet, easy access to nearby attractions. Parking relatively easy on the streets nearby. Aquarium a must see.

No instructions on what to do with rubbish, how to connect to the WIFI, how to operate the electrical appliances. No hair dryer.

A very well positioned apartment, 5 min walk from the old town and maybe 10 min from the Sat and Weds Market. The owner was very helpful. Everything was clean and the kitchen well equipped to cook for the three of us. Huge living room and front bedroom, which my children thought were incredible.

Weekend à Boulogne pour visiter l'aquarium

Bel appartement bien décoré et équipé. Bien situé, à environ 10 minutes à pied du centre historique et du centre ville, ainsi qu'à une vingtaine de minutes à pied de l'aquarium. Stationnement gratuit à proximité avec un peu de temps de recherche d'une place.

Perfekter Urlaub an der Opalküste

Die Lage ist hervorragend. Man ist schnell in der Ober- und Unterstadt, ebenso am Strand. Fußläufig sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist prima ausgestattet und entspricht genau der Beschreibung. Sehr liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln.
