Au coeur des Remparts

Location is at the heart of the medieval town area so is busy and easy to access restaurants and bars. Facilities were clean and comfortable and provided a good base for an overnight stop-over. Free wifi was accessible. Secure parking was 150m away ( payent).

Access is up steep stairs so persons with restricted mobility may find it difficult. Some intrusive noise from the adjacent apartment was noticeable at night.

Everything in the appartment that we needed was there. Great location and very clean. Attentive host and good communication with host.

Stairs quite steep but we knew that before we booked. Outside noise could bother some people (flat overlooks the main street of the old town).

We love staying here on our way home. The location is right where you need to be if you want authentic, beautiful French fort living with bars, boulangerie and restaurants . The boulangerie opposite is just divine. This time we also walked to boulogne beach. It took 30 mins but was worth it for the huge sandy beach and a lovely swim in the sea. Walking round the ramberts early morning or at sunset is so gorgeous and the Notre Dame is very special. Each year they decorate the garden in the old town in a different theme, so gorgeous and lovely to see

Just a tiny recommendation. Apartment 1 could do with some more breakfast bowls and mugs
