Pleasant and scenic stay

The stay is located in a scenic area in Tuscany and is as seen in pictures. We had everything we needed. The host was very nice and check in was smooth. The stay is clean and the kitchen has all the essentials.

We had a little bit of ants in the kitchen but we handled it. The bathroom could have toiletries like a shower gel and the beds could be a little more comfortable.

My favorite place of all. The owner was so helpful and great. We missed him. It is a great, clean, big and comfortable farm. We love it!!!

Wonderful, authentic Tuscan accommodation. An excellent starting point for exploring the area.

A minor renovation would be timely. The shower was leaking and needed to be replaced, the glass shelf of the fridge was broken ... with a little extra attention these could all be fixed.

An exceptional Tuscan experience

Very nice accommodation well located for various excursions to nearby towns. The rustic and tastefully furnished apartments offer an authentic Tuscan atmosphere. The kitchen is equipped with basic equipment, but enough to last even for longer stays. The apartment on the first floor also has air conditioning. There is enough space on the fairly large property for every guest to find their own quiet corner.

The apartment could have been cleaned better, but apparently this is the standard to get used to in this part of Italy. The manager speaks only Italian

A perfect stay under the Tuscan sun!

An absolute fantastic place. We couldn't have found better in Tuscany. The farm is beautiful, very well-kept, you can feel the care of the host. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, equipped with everything one needs and more. You can feel the Italian, Tuscan atmosphere in the bedrooms. Angelo, the host, is a cordial, helpful person, always there when needed, with a smile. And his dinners for guests - a fairy tale that makes you feel like in the movie Under the Tuscan Sun. Perfect location, right under Cortona! I highly recommend it and I hope we will come back there ourselves one day!

Another special memory of our summer family vacation.

The location, the people. It was what we’ve always wanted. A home away from home to unwind. Toscana is always lovely, esp. in the summer. Cortona is a new place that has captured our hearts. Podere La Vecchia Fornace is a wonderful place to stay in. Near to almost destinations around Tuscany. We look forward to coming back one day.

Charming Tuscan Countryside Stay

We needed to cut our trip short due to personal issues, so only stayed one day instead of four. We will definitely return for a longer stay next time. The apartment was spacious with large rooms and a wonderful fireplace. The owner was so kind and helpful, bringing us firewood and helping us build a fire in the open fireplace. The location is in the Tuscan countryside, only a few minutes off the highway so it would be convenient and easy to get anywhere. We had some trouble finding the address on our GPS, so you might want to ask for arrival directions. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The kitchen was well-equipped. We really loved this place and were sad to leave after only a day. There are many good restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive from the apartment.

La posizione e l' esterno della struttura

Le foto sul sito non rispecchiavano la realtà,il bagno al limite della decenza , ragnatele ovunque,non abbiamo potuto fare la doccia perché non c' era l' acqua calda, è stata attaccata al momento della nostra partenza.La biancheria sia nelle camere che nel bagno era sporca ,il letto con il materasso rotto in pendenza. In poche parole non lo consiglio a nessuno .Un esperienza bruttissima.

Posto, accoglienza, silenzio, paesaggio, è un posto dove si trova la pace e dove si può ricaricare le energie,

struttura, pulizia, servizi, purtroppo la nostra dapandance non era all'altezza del posto e delle nostre aspetative visto le foto che erano sul sito, mancavano molte cose nell'appartamento, l'appartamento è al limite della agibilità, mi dispiace molto ma non posso essere soddisfatto !!!

Le foto pubblicate sono vecchie e non corrispondono più allo stato attuale. L'appartamento, come le strutture in genere, sono trascurati ed anche sporchi. Un bagno, piccolo e in cattivo stato, per tre camere matrimoniali è assolutamente insufficiente.

Bel soggiorno in relax

Posto stupendo immerso nel verde e in un paesaggio mozzafiato toscano, cipressi, grano. Veramente super! E' un vechio casale con diversi appartamenti, piscina, giochi per bambini e tanto tantissimo verde, siamo stati veramente benissimo!

E' andato tutto bene, ma di sicuro la struttura necessità di un pò di manutenzione e sopratttutto (come letto in altre recesioni) di un pò di pulizia in più, c'erano (ma questo dipende dall'inciviltà delal gente) mozziconi di sigaretta terra, resti di plastica e la piscina ha bisogno ogni tanto di una pulizia un pò piu approfondita Ma è un posto assolutamente magico e il rapporto qualità prezzo è elevatissimo

Il podere è molto bello con un bel giardino dove i bambini possono giocare

Il nostro appartamento purtroppo era molto sporco, stando in campagna abbiamo trovato molte formiche che camminavano nelle stanze, una lucertola in lavandino, ragnatele e ragni insomma. Nel bagno non c’era il bidet e lo scarico del piatto doccia era sprovvisto di un pezzo per cui c’era continua puzza di fogne. Per accontentarsi va anche bene ma con i bambini piccoli internamente avrei preferito altro.

Relax in Toscana!

Struttura composta da più appartamenti, immersi in una valle che si alterna fra uliveti e vigneti! Giardino in piano impeccabile che darà sfogo ad ogni corsa o gioco di bambino. Gentilezza dei proprietari superlativa, se poi cedete al fascino di un pasto preparato dalla Sig.ra Renata non potrete che godere ulteriormente di quelle stupende terre! L'immersione nella natura fa dimenticare lo stress della città, oltre al fatto che ci si trova a pochi min di auto da alcuni dei più bei borghi d'italia (Cortona e Castigion del Lago). Ogni appartamento ha il suo caminetto a legna, oltre al riscaldamento con caldaia...atmosfera top! Davvero grazie per la bella esperienza!

Se proprio proprio devo trovare qualcosa da scrivere qui migliorerei un pò la gestione delle pulizie, ma è un tema che non altera assolutamente la percezione di benessere generale del quale si può godere.

Il casale è antico è bellissimo! Il sig. Angelo è stato gentilissimo e cortese, ci ha portato la legna per accendere il fuoco nonostante piovesse e grazie ai suoi consigli abbiamo acquistato dal suo fornitore delle bistecche fiorentine strepitose! Torneremo di sicuro!
