A great place to stay in Rovinj

The location was great. The apartment was very tastefully furnished. Really nice balcony.

You just need to be aware of steep stairs if you are sleeping in top room going down to the bathroom

Beautiful flat, fantastic location in stunning Rovinj

Absolutely fantastic location, and a beautifully designed flat. Terrace is the star and we made ample use of it. You’re only steps away from the top of the old town with multiple restaurants and shops, also a few minutes from the rocks to go swimming. Thanks to Ivan and Francesca for helping us with parking and the golf buggy ride to and from the car park.

Other reviews have mentioned the seagulls - they didn’t disturb meals but can be very loud at night and early morning.

Lovely property in a beautiful town

Fabulous little cottage in a prime location in the heart of the old town. Well equipped and stylishly decorated. Helpful, communicative staff with little buggy to transport to and from accommodation.

Open stairs to bedroom on top floor felt a little ropey and would be unsafe for children or people with reduced mobility.

Great central location

If you want to stay in the very center of Rovinj, this apartment is in a great location. Ivan arranged parking for us and then drove us to the accommodation.

The apartment does not have a living room or even a couch. We stayed there in March when the temperatures were not yet high enough to spend the days on the terrace, so we really missed having a living space. The apartment is spread over three floors, and the steep stairs are not the best choice for small children.

Nice stay in Rovinj

Location is on the highest point in town..a steep walk so not good for people with mobility issues. The house has 3 floors & the stairs are quite steep so have to be careful & again not suitable for people with mobility issues. Comfortable beds and washing machine is a plus.

Steep stairs in the house & the lighting in bathroom is not good. The seagulls are scary…we tried eating on the balcony one night & almost got attacked by a menacing seagull.

Had a fantastic time

Lovely apartment in a great location. Bathroom looked almost brand new, cute roof top terrace, loved the old stone fearures. Very friendly and responsive host 😊

Only suggestion is to get a curtain for the downstairs bedroom door to the courtyard to have a possibility to darken the room overnight.

Highly recommendable. Crazy good location.

Just next to the Church of Saint Euphemia on top of Rovinj. Still no bothering noise, the church bells are actually not very loud. Creatively decorated - rustic, still sophisticated flat, with all necessary facilities. Nespresso, washing machine and air-con. Great dining recommendations from the host. The outdoor area was wonderful, with some seagulls around protecting their gull chicks. Very comfortable beds. Just a quick walk for a morning bath/swim in the sea at the tip of the peninsula. Parking was easy and we were transported with our luggage in golf-car to the apartment. Everything within reach, and you could just make your pick of which charming alley to walk down to the main square.

Liked it all. As others have pointed out, if you have problems walking hills or climbing stairs, this may not be the place for you. Note that the cobble stones in the steep alleyways may be slippery - particularly if you wear sandals. Also, the outside lounge area may be missed in colder periods of the year. Two picky pairs, may find one bathroom one too few.

Beautiful apartment in Rovinj

Amazing location right next to the basilica in the old part of Rovinj. The unit is compact but well-appointed, with very comfortable beds. There are two patio areas and the two separate bedrooms are completely separate - one on the top floor, and one on the lower level, separated by a small kitchen and dining area. The bathroom is on the lower level, along with a washer (no dryer). The decor is a lovely mix of modern and vintage elements, and the kitchen was pretty well stocked with pots, pans, etc. We initially had a problem using the WiFi and the management company came and fixed it right away. They were very responsive and easy to deal with. Parking was about a 5-10 min walk away in a locked, private lot just outside the pedestrian zone.

This would not be a great place for people who struggle with stairs or hills, as it is at the top of a hill in a pedestrian-only zone, and the parking lot is at the top of another hill. The management company does drive you up there with a golf cart when you arrive and depart so luggage transport is easy. The stone floors in the unit can be freezing when it is chilly! The only real sofa/lounge seating is outside on the patio, which wasn't as appealing in the cool, rainy spring weather we had, but we could see that from the photos.

A charming apartment with a great outdoor space in the middle of the old town!

This is a very charming place to stay at. Strangely enough it is located in the middle of the old city right next to the church, yet it is on a very quiet and private alley with beautiful views to the water and old town. It is a very small apartment (small footprint on 3 levels), but the rooms are comfortable and the terrace is where we spent most of our time at. Our kids (13 & 15) rated it top 5 places we've been to! The host met us at the parking lot and drove us through the old town alleys and crowds on a golf cart which was an adventure by itself!

Unique and cool place at the top of Rovinj!

This place is unique and great, right at the top of the hill next to St. Eufemija Church. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Tito Square and there a lot of shops and restaurants along the route. The view from the terrace is great. This three level apartment was good size, clean, and very comfortable. The hosts Francesca and Ivan could not have been more helpful. They arranged parking for us in advance of our arrival and provided golf cart transport for us and our bags from parking to the the apartment. They also helped coordinate a private driver to take us to our next destination in Piran. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful sunny May high above the old Istrian town

According to the photos, it was already clear that this would be an exceptional place. Although we did not need two bedrooms, despite the higher price, we chose it. We know Rovinj very well from previous stays in the old town, but this was absolutely beautiful. Early morning solitude in a small park around the church above the town and the sea made walks with our dog unforgettable. The atmosphere and views from the terrace exceeded expectations. The appearance of the house in the style of an old boutique fully suited us and evoked the times when tourism did not yet exist. Of course, the choice of time of stay helped. Long live May in Croatia! There is nothing missing from the equipment. Our local clutch Ivan was also perfect in everything. He brought us on a golf cart from a parking space down in the city and helped with our luggage. Also back on the day of departure. Thanks Ivan. Wonderful 9 days.

The only, though necessary and accepted, inconvenience were the very steep stairs. It is necessary to draw the attention of older people in particular. This is not entirely clear from the photos. The kitchen and the terrace behind it are accessed from street level. One very bright bedroom with a wooden floor and a great view is then up the steep stairs under the roof. The second, cooler, darker, but equally nice bedroom with a stone floor and a small private shaded terrace and the only bathroom is again from the kitchen down the steep stairs. So from the upper bedroom you have to go down the steep stairs twice. But on the other hand, how romantic!

Exceptional

The apartment has a great position next to the church of St. Euphemia in the old town. It is beautifully decorated with two terraces, sea view, lots of cute details. The apartment is on three levels, maximally used space. Wifi works flawlessly. The bathroom is on the lowest level, which can be a little inconvenient for guests who sleep two levels above, but it was not a big problem for us. Rooms are air conditioned. Everything is new, spotlessly clean. You have the possibility of parking at the entrance to the old town, which is paid an additional 10 euros per day, but is available to guests. Also, someone waits for the guests of the apartment upon arrival in the parking lot whenever they come and transports them to the apartment with luggages that is very comfortable for the old town. I have no objections and I highly recommend the apartment. I hope to visit it again soon.

Bei Schlechtwetter wirkt es innen ein bisschen klein, da es kein Wohnzimmer gibt, nur die kleine Küche und die Schlafzimmer.

Sehr schöne Lage, liebevoll gestaltetes Apartment (Stein/Altholz-Kombinationen), und auch tolle Aufteilung für 4 Personen: EG Küche + Esstsich und große Terrasse, OG Schlafzimmer mit großem Doppelbett, UG Bad/WC und ein weiteres Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und einer kleinen Terrasse. Im Grunde wäre das Apartment also ein echtes Juwel, WENN…

…man es sauber halten und pflegen würde! 😔 Dreckiger Boden, große Flecken auf Handtüchern und wirklich auf allen Bettlaken, Staubballen & Dreck unter’m Bett und der Matratze… wir mussten erstmal selbst grob durchputzen und die Handtücher auf 90 Grad waschen, damit es für uns halbwegs ok war. Wenn man den Preis aufruft, darf das nicht sein - eigentlich darf das so gar nicht sein. Ein Vorhang oder Jalousien im unteren Schlafzimmer wäre schön, nicht nur weil es sonst sehr früh sehr hell wird, sondern auch weil die Nachbarn reinschauen können. Wir haben dann ein Handtuch davor gehängt. Es wäre grundsätzlich also ein echt tolles Apartment, leider ist sehr schlecht gepflegt… wirklich schade.

Wir und unsere Freunde, haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ivan holte uns pünktlich am Parkplatz ab und brachte uns mit dem Caddy zum Appartement. Dieses ist ein liebevoll restauriertes Haus. Wir waren zu viert und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Hierher kommen wir gerne wieder.

Ein Juwel in einem wunderschönen Ort

Alles perfekt, wunderschönes kleines Haus am Hügel mit toller Aussicht auf die Stadt und das Meer. Das Haus ist liebevoll und sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man braucht. Die freundliche Abholung vom Parkplatz mit dem Elektromobil war sehr willkommen.

Geschmackvolles Appartment

Appartment liegt zentral gleich neben der Kirche in der Altstadt von Rovinj. Wir wurden mit einem ECard vom Parkplatz außerhalb der Altstadt abgeholt und pünktlich wieder zum Auto zurück gebracht. Das Appartment ist auf 3 Ebenen mit Stufen, es ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Bettwäsche und flauschige Handtücher werden bereitgestellt. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern ist rasch, freundlich und problemlos.

Die Küche ist gleichzeitig auch der Aufenthaltsbereich... für drei Personen und Hund etwas eng ... ist in der warmen Jahreszeit sicher weniger ein Problem, weil man dann die kleine, schöne Terrasse auch benutzen kann (wir waren im Januar hier). Die Klappstühle beim Küchentisch sind etwas unbequem.
