Quirky apartment with fantastic views of the sea in the old town

Fantastic friendly welcome from Antonia who left us a bottle of wine and some fruit. Apartment is just as in the photos, great views from the windows and in a great location right in the old town but still very quiet. Up three steep flights of stairs so need to be mindful of that when booking but we were fine with these. We found a great place to swim by the Puntalina restaurant and really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Rovinj for three days. We took a golf buggy taxi and spent one afternoon at the Golden Cape. Antonia kindly sorted a taxi for us to return to Pula.

Unbeatable location and ambience

Beautiful, characterful and well furnished/decorated apartment with a homely feel in an unbeatable location in the old town with fantastic views over the sea/town and swimming off the rocks nearby. The apartment was very peaceful and relaxing and the kitchen very well equipped. We enjoyed shopping at the local market with wonderful fresh fish and fruit and veg. Owner Antonia was very pleasant and helpful. Would love to return in the future.

We had to pay in cash which we are no longer used to in the UK which entailed trips to several cash points/ use of multiple cards

Just wow!! Great place to stay in the centre of Rovinj!

Amazing location with beautiful views. Close to everything (main square, shops, restaurants), and while the front door comes straight out onto a street with restaurants and shops, it is still perfectly quiet inside. Lots of room with a big kitchen/dining area and lounge. Responsive and helpful host! Very clean!

Amazing sea views, beautifully decorated, spacious, and in the heart of Rovinj

We absolutely loved this property, which is full of historic charm, wonderful art, and all the amenities that make a stay comfortable (good beds, a full kitchen, a/c units, a lovely fireplace, etc.). The master bedroom is huge, and the second bedroom fit our three children perfectly. What put this apartment over the top are the incredible sea and harbor views and its location in the heart of Rovinj. Step out of the apartment and you're on the cobblestone streets, seconds from countless charming restaurants and shops to enjoy. The hostess was so kind to leave welcome treats, which we all really enjoyed!

Nothing - it was a fantastic stay for us. It'd be challenging for those with mobility issues since there are a few flights of stairs to reach the apartment which might be a bit steep for families with small children or those with mobility issues.

Casa Sul Mar is magical

Our family will never forget our magical time at Casa Sul Mar. The apartment has amazing views and atmosphere. We enjoyed the hustle of the old town, but also loved the way we could retreat from it all at Casa Sul Mar. When we opened the windows, we could hear the water lapping on the shore and even smell the amazing food being cooked at the restaurants below. Antonia was an animated, lovely host.

Nothing. Older people who might be at risk of falling should be aware of the steep flights of stairs required to get into the apartment.

Fabulous! Views, Convenience, Charm

This place was the ultimate in charming. It is a beautifully remodeled old house right on the water with outstanding views and all of the amenities one might hope for. It was convenient to many restaurants, shops and the harbor but still amazingly quiet. Our host made every effort to make our stay as comfortable and easy as possible. She even stocked the refrigerator with a few essential items and some champagne!

The only issue was the long narrow stairway up to the apartment. But that was the price for staying in a place with old world charm.

Fabulous location, apartment and host - stay at Casa sul mar and you will be glad you did!

Casa sul Mar is a beautiful apartment overlooking the water and in a lovely location in the old town, with loads of character. The apartment had everything we needed and we loved that it was so accessible to bars, swimming areas and restaurants. Antonia was a fabulous host - easily accessible and answered all our questions promptly. Antonia also met us and drove us into the old town to the apartment when we arrived and, despite the early start when we left, very kindly collected us to return to our car at the end of our stay. Our time in Rovinj was made all the more enjoyable thanks to Antonia’s recommendations - do everything she suggests and you will be glad you did! Allow a few days in Rovinj to enjoy the swimming, a boat trip, afternoon spritz’s by the water, local wineries and good restaurants and wandering around the beautiful old town. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect stay in Rovinj

The owner, Antonia was very polite and helped with everything what we want. She lives on the same street where appartment is located. Appartment is very nice with two bathrooms - we very appreciate it! Perfectly and stylished equiped rooms and living room with panoramic view of coast and iland St. Katarina.

Rovinj is a magical place to relax and rejuvinate!

This is our second time staying at Casa Sul Mer in Rovinj. The property has a stunning location a couple of steps away from the old town. The view from the windows is amazing. Antonia is a wonderful host and is extremely resourceful. Our flight to Pula was cancelled by the airline and we had to arrive and depart from Venice. Antonia arranged for a wonderful driver - Branko - to pick us up from Venice airport and drive us back after our holiday. Thank you Antonia! It was wonderful seeing you again and we all enjoyed our welcome glass of prosecco with you!

Location absolutely great, breakfast in the café below the house. Absence of lift, not suitable for disabled and disabled = access only by stairs. Otherwise absolutely great. Free parking on the outskirts.

Szuper elhelyezkedés, gyönyörű panorama, kényelmes nagy apartman,kár, hogy nincs erkély.

A parkolás problémás, mivel a szállás az óvarosban van nincs saját parkolója. Kocsival legkozelebb 800 méterre lehet megallni, de itt 25 eurós napi dij van. Az olcsobb zónákat 7 euro/napi dijon is meg lehet úszni, de ezek 1,5 -2 km-re vannak a szallastól fent a dombon. Aki minden nap szeretné hasznalni a kocsiját az keszuljon fel egy 3-4 km-es napi sétára..

Wspaniały apartament. Przytulny, czysty, stylowo urządzony, widok na morze i port. Doskonały klimat. Kuchnia wyposażona we wszystkie potrzebne sprzęty. Zmywarka, pralka, żelazko, suszarka, klimatyzacja. Lokalizacja w samym centrum, miasteczko urokliwe. Właścicicielka bardzo miła i pomocna.
