Stunning property and an unbeatable location made this holiday one to remember.

Our recent stay at Hinterreiter apartments was truly exceptional and one of the best places we stayed. The property was immaculate — clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide both comfort and style. Every detail, from the cozy interiors to the perfect terrace place, made the stay feel special and stress-free. The location was absolutely perfect. Direct access to sea, perfect view and close to major attractions yet peaceful enough to relax, it offered the best of both worlds. Shops, restaurants, and transport were conveniently nearby, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle. Waking up to such a beautiful setting every day was a highlight of the trip. Overall, the combination of a stunning property and an unbeatable location made this holiday one to remember.

Lovely, clean apartment right on the sea and in the heart of Rovinj.

Top-notch location in the heart of old town and right on the water. You can almost jump out your window into the sea. We stayed on the top floor with 2 adults and 4 kids. Getting in and out was flawless and there was good communication with the host. Well-appointed kitchen, especially given its size, and we had no trouble making meals at home a few times. We didn't have any issues and want to go back!

Since the couches in the living area were used for beds for the kids, there were only kitchen chairs for sitting. Not terrible since we weren't inside the apartment very much anyway.

Lovely location needs some money spent on it, to feel clean, safe and comfortable.

Location suited us well, right in the heart of old Rovinj

Needed some TLC. Felt in need of updating. Shower room was dark, shower head had a mind of its own, loo needed to be switched off otherwise flushed continuously, important labels for boiler not clear. ( no guide to appliances in the flat) Communal space again tired, poor lighting, kitchen hob got scarily hot and not safe for unfamiliar users. No hooks for clothes, minimal storage in the flat. Web pictures unclear, reviews amazing. I suspect flat 9 is not as renovated as others in the block, but costs all the same.

Way too much money for what we got

The window view

The furniture is old, but not vintage, just old. The smell in the house is like everything is wet. It was impossible to have dry towels. The owner stated that there is parking place, but there was no parking place. The beds are for small people from Lilliput. The terrace by the see is always in shades, never sunny. The bathroom had bad lights.

Super easy check in and check out. The property is in a perfect location and the terrace is lovely. Even though there is no AC the fans worked really well. I will definitely be back!

city full of history, the perfect alternative to Italy

Location right on the seashore. There is the possibility of swimming in the sea as soon as you leave the house. The sea is practically under the window. There is a specially arranged staircase so you can go down to the sea. . You can combine swimming, lying on the sunh and visiting a city full of history.

Area in town was nice and some nice restaurant. One cafe had the worst breakfast and iced coffee.

Location was ok…need to be mindful of slippery pavers if you have trouble walking.

Room wasn’t ready until 8pm! Check in time was guaranteed by 5pm, which is relatively late compared to other accommodation. Housekeeper was still cleaning room and was not ready until 8pm. We have never had this issue with other accommodation. There was no recompense for the check in issue.

Beautiful old property with amazing Adriatic views from apt #4.

The location is quite good. We stayed in Apt 4 which directly looks over the Adriatic: no need to go anywhere for the sunset view because you'll see it from the 2 windows that face that way. The place is very easy to find and is in a great convenient location in the old city. Seems very safe. It was very quiet at night as well. The owners were very responsive via the app.

It looks like either the public sewer that services the property or the property itself has a bit of a plumbing problem. There were some occasions where the place seemed quite stinky with sewer gas bubbling up through the traps. We heard it often in the kitchen sink trap. They do have an abundance of air diffusers in each of the bathrooms plus I did inform them of the issue. I do hope they can sort that out soon though because that could be a sign of a major problem about to show up for the property. Apart from that, we had a very nice stay.

Beautiful

I loved the view on the sea and the position in the city. I believe is difficult to find a better place in Rovinj. I loved the terrace on the sea, a place where you can chill out at the end of the day.

Our family enjoyed our time in Rojvinj and the accommodations were great.

The location of the property cannot be beat! The outdoor (shared) terrace was the best. Even though it is shared there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy.

The unit was as clean as I’d expect, but it’s on the water and that’s common.

Most disappointing place compared to descriptions online.

Situation in Old Town was good

Accommodation was sub standard. Hallway smelled bad. Bed linen old and didn’t look too clean. Serious lack of towels. Only one small window in one bedroom that could not be opened very often due to lack of fastenings for shutters.

perfect view. the sea was right under the window. A full kitchen with all needed utensils and pots/pans. I bought fresh ingredients at the open air market on Saturday and made a fine feast.

Superb

The apartment literally sits on the edge of the Adriatic at the end of a row of buildings so it is exposed to the west allowing for the viewing of absolutely beautiful sunsets, we also saw dolphins swimming about 100 yards out. Very peaceful surroundings in a beautiful city. The host/owner was very communicative and upgraded us to his favorite unit given we were the only guests present in the building.

We didn't realize that there's a switch to turn on/off the hot water heater (and I think it also controls the heat and A/C). We inadvertently turned the switch off thinking it was a light switch and woke up the next morning quite chilly and no hot water, but we managed.

relax in a family friendly apartment with the sea right outside of your window!

Great location in beautiful Rovinj! The sea is directly outside of your window. The space is perfect for a family with even a stocked kitchen for cooking for little ones. The host was communicative and even ensured there was a high chair on site when they read we had a little one! I can’t recommend them enough!

Great apartment in perfect location with great facilities and customer service

Basically everything. Firstly it’s perfectly located in the old town, easily walking distance to all bars, restaurants and activities but also peaceful. Right on the sea so you benefit from the view and the sound. The apartment was well equipped with all the facilities you need and the right balance between a traditional and modern setting. Good customer service and attentive. Highly recommended.

Everything is great. My only recommendation is to remember your apartment arrival on arrival as there are a number located here.

the property is in the most amazing position in Rovinj and you can have the best sunsets. The roof you have to remember in room 7 has a slanted roof by the windows and bedrooms so that is a challenge a few times when you open the windows and forget to duck…..
