Comfortable, clean room, tea making facilities, close to shops, pubs, restaurants, good breakfast selection including fresh fruit.
On arrival, the whole place looks unloved, could be much nicer with some tlc. Garden needs maintenance in terms of weeding, fence repairs and painting and some fresh plants in planters.
We were allocated a room where once we unpacked the lock was broken so we then had to move to another room. The shower bracket was broken and so you had to hold the shower which is quite awkward whilst trying to wash. Lack of plug sockets with ones near the bed behind the beds and difficult to access to charge phones overnight. Signs outside offering as a wedding venue but would need a lot of works to get it to standard suitable for this. Breakfast selection was good, however lacked choice of eggs, only scrambled available. And no Nutella for waffles and pancakes.
