Norfolk hideaway

Good location for us, as some of the places we wanted to visit where nearby. Lovely staff, always pleasant. Room was very good, and cosy. Great shower. Nice to have a place to sit comfortably. Food choice in restaurant was good & reasonably priced. Plenty of car parking.

Only quible lighting could have been better.

Excellent value for money with no downside!

Everything was perfect from warm welcome to evening meal we could not fault it. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too and cookied to our liking. Would recommend highly .

Chosen for its location and value the Plough was a pleasant surprise made special by its staff.

Breakfast was freshly prepared to order. A reasonable selection including eggs benedict, and all eggs we tried, scrambled, poached and boiled all perfectly cooked.

A comfortable place to stay.

This is a roadside pub, not a luxury hotel. Car parking is good and the room was large and well appointed. The ensuite bathroom was modern and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant.

The stairway connecting the rooms with the bar and dining area could do with redecorating. The room lighting could also be a little brighter.

Amazing stay

We loved our stay at the Plough Inn, the location is lovely, the accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we would need. The staff are so lovely and friendly and can't do enough for you. The food is amazing, I would just go for that alone, really good quality and mouth watering flavours. Very good value for money and we look forward to our next stay, definitely recommend to anyone.

Not really anything to complain about, but if I had to pick one thing, it would probably have to be, the stairs leading to the rooms, could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues, but this is really scraping the barrel, as the place is amazing

The rooms were very clean & comfortable …We had an evening meal in the pub and it was excellent also had breakfast here which was excellent… All the staff here went above and beyond a special thank you to Jenny who dealt with us most of the time. We stayed here for the Thursford Christmas show & also visited Norwich The Plough Inn was perfectly situated for both these… We have stayed here a couple of times and will definitely be returning.

Comfortable, good price & would recommend.

We were driving up after work so arriving late in the evening. The hotel called with the code for the door so we could check in after hours if needed which was great. As it turned out we were only 10 minutes up the road! The room was a good size for a twin so we weren’t on top of each other. Bathroom was clean & excellent shower. Bed was very comfortable. It was a good location for us for the weekend. The staff were really friendly & breakfast was good as well. Really good value for money.

Pleasant stay. Staff friendly.

Plenty of parking. We had a family room and the layout was great. Having the bar downstairs gives you the opportunity to eat and drink through your stay. Has garden seating which would be lovely in the warmer weather.

The water/heating pipes can be slightly noisy at times. The bunk beds are slightly noisy when you move in bed, but it is because they are made of metal.

Definitely my favourite place to stay when visiting the area

Great food! Friendly & very helpful staff! Rooms were exceptionally clean & comfortable… Their breakfast choice was fantastic! The Plough Inn is ideally situated for visiting Norwich and the surrounding area. We stayed here as we did last year to visit The Thursford Christmas spectacular Show! Will definitely be back next year!! Thank you to Jenni & all the staff!

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Excellent cooked breakfast, cooked to order with lots of menu choices. Warm room with a modern clean bathroom incorporating interesting design features. Plenty of space for parking just off a good road giving access many local attractions.

Really lovely location and quite. Food was outstanding and both the night staff and morning staff where friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Ok stay

Good room, comfortable big bed, but room freezing cold during day. Centrally provided heating only came on for an hour in morning and couple of hours in evening.

Cold room. Breakfast hit and miss depending on who was serving it. No offer of second drink. Bar closed early at night

Little gem of an Inn

Great stay at The Plough. Well appointed room, lovely bathroom, staff very welcoming and friendly, very nice meal on our first night and super tasty breakfasts. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area. Small touch, but love all the artwork in the bar!

Lovely venue, great stay and good food.

We stayed for 1 night and had an evening meal and breakfast. All excellent. Room had plenty of space to relax. View from room pleasant too. Plenty of parking. Staff excellent.

Room had a fridge with no content which was the only dissapointment ( no mini bar). Why not ask your guests if they would like to purchase drinks for the mini bar in advance as a package ( pre purchase)?

Wonderful location with fabulous food and service

Location was perfect to access Norwich directly by car or via the airport park and ride and seaside resorts being only 12 miles from Cromer. Food was really lovely and lots of choice and daily special dishes which are all very reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and a credit to the Plough and could not do enough to help. This was very comfortable room, great shower room and facilities and which came with breakfast for two which we thought was very good value for money.

Nothing of concern. Double bed was perhaps a bit of a compromise for us being used to a king sized bed, but was very comfortable and the room had great amenities.
