Lovely old building and room was comfortable and cosy.
Nothing, though missed having a homemade cooked breakfast, as breakfast was a buffet breakfast from the bread shop within the building.

Breakfast was a continental type and was perfectly adequate. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean with good facilities. The hotel generally was really lovely in a great location. Although there were no reception staff the check in process was perfectly fine and the hotel team made sure via email and Whatsapp that I was completely aware how to check in.
The breakfast room was very busy on the second morning as it is open to non residents for drinks and food so we had a bit of difficulty finding a seat but this was a very minor point and did not detract in any way from our stay.

We booked a last minute trip for the same day, the hostess could not have been friendlier. The room was beautiful and the bed was so incredibly comfortable!!! We had a very relaxing stay.
Nothing to say here, we loved it.

Attractive property in pretty old square
Bedroom decor delightful
Spacious bathroom
Comfy bed
A little noisy outside, especially when it’s hot and you have the windows open
Trouble getting in the main door on second night, had other residents calling out to our room to let them in
Socket for Hair dryer and
available mirror inside wardrobe door a bit tricky for blowdrying your hair

Clean and comfortable surprised that they thought about most things but they never had a iron and ironing board

The bed was comfy; the room pretty;the bathroom was large and well equipped; the hotel is very near our friends’ house; it was nice to sit outside in the seating area.
The space in the bedroom was limited, rather cramped. When the hotel was full it was noisy: doors slamming, stairs creaking, sound of voices carrying. We thought that for the price we paid for the room (ÂŁ200/ night), the breakfast - although good quality- was limited in choice: it did not offer any hot choices at all - and after the first hot drink, payment was required.

loved the property and location was brilliant especially self service entrance since we arrived late
it was brilliant absolutely loved it all
8.0 / 10.0
The character of the hotel and attention to detail in the room.
That the restaurant and bar was closed for the whole time we stayed there ( 3 days ) this serves no purpose to someone paying for a 3 night stay. Also the doors were really difficult to open when entering the code. Very stiff. The room was quite hot so recommend a better fan ( Dyson ) for hot nights since there is very little window ventilation and our room was right at the top.

The building and location is great
The lack of a proper breakfast I had a croissant in bread source downstairs on a nice plate with a knife but when I asked for butter or jam I was told “this is a bakery “ really disappointed the rooms and location deserves so much more.

Lovely spacious room with fabulous bathroom. I was pleased to see a fan in the room for the warmer days. Tea/coffee making facilities good - and it was good to have a fridge. Comfortable bed.

Good choice of excellent pastries and coffee.
Wine bar a real treat. Location perfect for our purposes.
Slight problem getting into our room with the keypad but was sorted out quickly.

Such lovely interiors and thoughtful touches! The staff were so helpful in the build up to us going and made sure our stay went smoothly.

The room was beautiful, a lovely four-poster bed and stunning wallpaper, the shower was really good. When we did see staff they were super friendly and helpful.
The breakfast pasteries were fresh and very tasty
Where to start..... it felt very impersonal checking in to an evidently empty hotel with door key-pads, there was absolutely no sounds in the building and no signs of life anywhere.
The next day when we returned to our room after being out all day we were very surprized to see that our bed hadn't been straingtented and we are pretty sure the only reason the bin had been emptied and our coffee cups cleaned was because we had requested an iron and ironing board so someone had had to come into our room. On day 2 and 3 again our bed wasn't straightened, the bins weren't emptied, our coffee cups weren't cleaned and we didn't get any more fresh milk.
For a not inexpensive property, I expect a level of service (bed made, cups washed, bins emptied etc.) I don't expect a turn-down service or room service etc but the basics - yes! It made what could have been a really lovely stay into something a bit sad.
The room was also very hot - it's an old building with no air-con so understandable; however, the fan supplied was very noisy.
Breakfast is coffee/tea and pastries and there was no attempt to accommodate my gluten intolerance - I was offered fruit!
It feels like they are doing the bare minimum for alot of money, this is a beautiful building and could have been so much more.

Very beautiful and quiet. Staff were very helpful and rooms were a great size.
Food choice is limited for kids and breakfast was extremely limited. No hot food option

The Rooms were beautiful
For the price of the room-The breakfast was a joke. Firstly you had to queue behind non hotel residents
1 hot drink, 1 cake or pastry
1 piece of OLD fruit ( only 2 pieces to choose from)
1 sandwich which didn’t arrive till 10.30 on Saturday and Sunday mornings which delayed us going out
There was nowhere comfortable to sit in the hotel.
There was supposed to be a dining area in the room but if you had the folding table down, you couldn’t get past the bed

Fabulous place to stay. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and stylish! We had a very tasty meal in the Laid Back pizzeria (Darren and staff were so friendly and helpful) and the breakfast (included with the stay) from Bread Source was delicious. Both of these are within the Dial House. Can’t wait to return!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Dial House. The location is absolutely perfect in the middle of Reepham (a quaint village in Norfolk). We stayed in the print room and it was a good size with a lovely marble bathroom. We slept fantastically in the bed and everything was impeccably clean.
Not much, the only thing that could be improved on is the breakfast. It is only pastries and a fruit, which, if you are on a diet or have allergies, is a bit difficult. But that should not take away from the otherwise amazing stay we had at the Dial House.

Breakfast was the only weak aspect. Unusual offering. Much prefer to have even limited choice of eg toast/bread, butter (which was actually being sold!), marmalade etc, cereals, fruit, teapot/coffee jug.
Breakfast!
Handles on awkward parts of stairs would be helpful.

Good location and clean
Staff were quite rude at breakfast, very cold property, plumbing issues and heating issues in rooms. Limited breakfast and charged for having a second coffee! Not quite the 5* we had hoped for.

This is a hotel with several rooms designed in individual style. We got the 'Natural History' room which had spacious bathroom, comfy bed, and even a roof patio!
We especially liked how big and clear the bed was and how carefully was designed the room.
There were no sounds from other rooms so the noise is isolated and you can get a calm night to rest.
It is located in the center of small town just on the main square. Please note the car park is on the public grounds - either in front of the hotel building (but up to 90 mins or from 6 pm till 8 am overnight) or on a free well-lit parking in 3 mins around the corner. In pracrice this was more convenient that it sounds :)
This is unmanned hotel; all the support was received from the staff by SMS, messages (we did not use phone). No issues there, thanks to the hotel management team.
Would recomment this place.
The breakfast is served in the bakery just on the groud floor. So the choice is limited to coffee and pastries.

The Dial House is located in a lovely market town with everything you need locally. The individually decorated boutique room, Africa, was superb and very comfortable and the Dial House team, especially Lauren was excellent.
This is not your usual B&B with the Dial house offering a more flexible approach to the breakfast option which I have not experienced before. However, after a call with Lauren, I was looking forward to my visit.
This is definitely a place that I would visit again as I would like to discover what the other boutique rooms are like!

Communication with the owner prior to the visit, and on arrival were very good.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming.
The artisan pastries at breakfast were amazing.

The bathroom. Not much else.
Dingy lighting, uncomfortable seating, breakfast arrangements at bakery shop. No staff on site, keypad entry at front door and room.
