Great place, good location!

A lovely apartment, spacious and clean. Great air con. Good shower too. Family run place and the people were so friendly and accommodating. I'm a Travel Advisor and I will definitely be recommending this place!

when i checked in i had a wonderful warm welcome , and through out my stay the staff were very helpful thoughtful and friendly, the hotel is right in the middle of the old town which were ideal, my room was basic which is exactly what i wanted, i’m looking forward to staying there again later in the year. i cannot say anything negative about this hotel especially the staff i enjoyed my stay.

Very friendly couple but one or two small improvements would make it better.

A great location for evrything you might want or need and in a relatively quiet area of the old town. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. The shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable.

There could have been a facility to make tea or coffee in the morning or even when you arrive. The lighting was rather dim and made it difficult to read although there was a lamp which I didn't see until the final day.

Nice quiet location, clean and friendly.

I had a very nice stay at the hotel. Sayed and Sabi were both very friendly, kind and helpful. The bed was comfy, the aircon worked well and the shower was nice and hot. I borrowed a small kettle for my tea and a hairdryer when needed. I also stored my luggage after checkout for a few hours. There was a good sized wardrobe for hanging my clothes.

The room was a little bare of decor, but since I was out all day it doesn't really matter.

Disappointed

We booked a hotel room but we were given a small apartment in the next street over which was very old fashioned and not what we wanted. The proprietor asked us how much we drank and if we got drunk. Also told us not to get crumbs in the bed. As a result of being in this apartment there was no towel or sheet change. In fact we were told to turn our light off on balcony. Did not have use of the hotel facilities at all. Very disappointed.

They realised that my friend and I were holidaying together, despite our booking separately, they gave us an apartment. It was excellent. Couldn't have wanted more.

realy enjoyed my stay at the iris it was perfect for my requirements a comfortable room in an excellent location for the food and drink options in the old town i was able to pop in and out from eating or visiting the beach i also walked fro the train stationafter arriving from a stay in alicante and used the hotel as a base to visit altea and albir and villajoyosa.in addition to a comfortabble stay at the iris i have to say the lovely owners of the hotel are without doubt the nicest people i have ever met in all the years of traveling i never once passed reception without a pleasent conversation and no shortage of laughs i move about holiday destinations but will be staying at the iris the next time i return to benidorm

The perfect location for me, a budget traveler, for a short stay

Iris is a basic, no-frills hotel, very well priced; for the price you won't find a better place to stay in Benidorm. The proprietors are very friendly and accommodating and happily shared lots of information about the town, different locations, etc. I had inquired whether an early check-in would be possible; they did extra work and made it happen for me. Much appreciated! The location is very good, a short walk to the beaches and Old Town and countless shops, bars, cafés, and restaurants. It's about a 1.2 km downhill walk from the tram stop to the hotel, thus uphill back (but not difficult, even with a backpack). The property appeared well maintained; my room and the bathroom were perfectly clean.

My room overlooked the street, so there was a bit of street noise, but nothing bothersome, especially given that Benidorm is a small city and a busy place, even in early December (when I visited). If you can't handle some noise, don't go to densely populated areas!
