Clean, modern, and nicely designed room; communication in advance was friendly. Check-in contactless (ID via WhatsApp, code, key left outside room).
10-15 min walking distance to the centre (by elevator), 5 min to Blandis Café & Wine Bar and 5 min to Osteria Sotto Le Fonti (both are fabulous).
Extreme street noise. Single-glazed, non-sealed wooden windows and no shutters in a room facing a busy road mean it feels like sleeping with the window wide open next to a motorway – even at night. We were told the traffic is outside the hosts’ control, but the lack of sound insulation is not. After a long hike, it was impossible to sleep, even at 12:30 a.m. Not recommended if you value rest.

It was a short walk to the historic center and there was a view of the cathedral from the terrace
1. There was nowhere to park the car to offload the luggages. The only car park (EUR20/day) closed between 6pm-8am which meant you could not access your car at all during those times or leave the car at another car park 5min walk from the B&B
2. The kitchen had a coffee machine which dis not work. A jar of soluble coffee which was empty!
3. No water was offered.
4. The building was surrounded by vegetation and few other reaidential buildings, so nowhere to buy even a bottle of water.
