GOOD VALUE NEAR OLD TOWN but challenging to find.

Location was good with a short walk/ climb to the old town BUT you need to be fit to climb the steps and the slope . Parking free on street outside a few metres from front door, quiet area. Property very clean and well presented, contained all that was needed for a brief visit, although in limited space. But all considered, very good value if you don’t expect too much.owner very helpful with texts in French.

Shabby appearance externally but very clean inside. Basic accommodation, no excess space. More suited to a married couple who could then use the lounge area, but with two friends this was lost. Worst problem was finding the property- there are two number 16s in Rue Saint Marcel! Our phones took us to the lower location near the new town BUT if enter from rue Franklin Roosevelt to Rue Saint marcel. Then the property is no 16 on the right!! the owner is at work so not there to greet you, there are codes for the electronic locks. Keep a photo of the external view from the web so you can refer to this.

Well provisioned compact and comfortable apartment, hosts were very accommodating, short walk up to the old town centre, cathedral etc. If you have a backpack and don't want to take the 256 stairs the #4 bus goes from/to the train station for 1.20€, pay to the driver, nearest stop is gambetta, same bus does a circuit of the old town

A well considered space with lots of thoughtful extras to make it feel homely and welcoming.

As a family of four, we loved the little details that made it exciting for the children. We cooked meals both nights with everything available that we needed. It was also in a great location that allowed us to explore Laon.

The table was a little awkward to dismantle. We couldn’t do it in the end. We had to rearrange the furniture to open the sofa bed. Not a problem, but a different table set up would make it easier.

公寓不大，两人住还可以，公寓在半坡位置，房间布置简洁实用，距离景点与火车站都不远,WiFi很好，厨房用具好用，睡房能看到美景。不知什么原因房东告知我们看到的仪器显示屋里温度26℃，我们也很奇怪怎么可能？暖气都自动调节，睡觉时客厅的暖气我们都关掉的，屋里温度从来没有到过26°℃，我们早上6点30就离开公寓，房东在7点多又写信说房间温度26°℃。 For some unknown reason, the landlord told us that the instrument we saw showed that the temperature in the room was 26°C. We were also very surprised. We turned off the heating in the living room when we slept, and the temperature in the room never reached 26°℃.We left the apartment at 6:30 in the morning, and the landlord wrote again at 7 o'clock to say that the room temperature was 26°℃.
