Access to the property was easy and it was great not having extra keys to worry about whilst we were staying onsite. The area is fantastic, the neighbours we encountered were friendly and it was very quiet and safe and close to all amenities. The shower room was amazing and it was great to be able to bathe the children so easily.

Someone was using the carpark at the property during our stay which made getting a pram and luggage in and out difficult as the gap between car and the concrete support pillar was quite small. Whilst the main areas were clean, I don't think under the bed or under the sofa has been cleaned in some time. When travelling with young children, they tend to drop things all over the place so it was frustrating that they would come up covered in dirt/dust. We also found a previous guests toy/fork under the couch, suggesting it hadn't been moved since the last guests left. The stairs for this property are VERY steep. We didn't bother bringing our cases to the bedroom at the top as they're also quite narrow and twist. Our daughter also slipped near the bottom and hurt her back when she landed. Also struggled with not being able to drop our bags early (2pm earliest for a 4pm check in) when we arrived in Japan at 6am. If you have an early flight in, you will need to factor storing your baggage elsewhere and finding something to do for the day until check in time.

The property was comfortable for my family and provided us enough space for a week. Access was easy to manage and we had no problems locating. It is an older property but comfortable and amenities are plenty. I dealt with staff remotely but responses were quick and communication was good. The train station is a short walk away and there are lots of food options available nearby.

There are steep stairs in the property if you are considering staying with young children but toddler / baby gates are provided.

Geweldige locatie dichtbij station Ebisu, zodat je zowel de metro, trein als bus naar de rest van de stad kon nemen. Goede en vriendelijke service van de host en goede verwarming in alle kamers en goede basic keuken. Badkamer met heerlijke douche en bad en wasmachine aanwezig.

Het was fijn geweest als er nachtkastjes en lampjes naast het bed was geweest, zodat je niet elke keer het grote licht in de kamer moet uitzetten.

There wasn’t enough bedding. I messaged and got a prompt reply to look in a specific spot in the home for it - no matter how many times we explained it was not there - nothing was remedied. Then eventually someone was sent to check - not once but twice- and even though they couldn’t find it, nothing was provided. I messaged repeatedly after that, but whether it was AI or translation issues, we kept getting told to look in the same spot that we and the random stranger had checked. I am really not sure what was hard to understand- even after seeing it with their own eyes. It was extremely frustrating. People sleep with towels as blankets.
