It is very convenient for the amenities in Staveley including chippy, shops, cafes, public EV car chargers, and also very close to the road to Kentmere for the Kentmere horseshoe (4miles away). In addition, it is a good property for those with a dog.
Not always possible to park outside property, but other street parking options nearby.

Great location, lovely cottage with all the facilities you need for a short stay away from home.
On street parking outside the cottage is a bit hit and miss, but there’s plenty of parking within a very short distance

Location beautiful.
There was no backyard fir the dog. Would have liked a footstool in the lounge.

This is a nice cottage that is well presented and in a good location.
When we arrived, we opened the back door and stepped straight in a dog poo. Whilst there is a sign up about the back door, it is not in an obvious location and should have been on the back door itself.
The broadband - which was critical for part of our party - was out of order for 75% of our visit and never worked again despite being reset multiple times.
Just about all of the crockery, glasses and cutlery were dirty when we arrived - with food residue on them - and needed washing before use.
The boiler failed to work on Sunday leaving us with no heating or hot water for the last morning of our trip.
