Very comfortable , clean , good quality and homely feel.
I stayed two weeks. The house keepers called after first week to change towels and bed linen etc.
Nit picking :
The information folder had been tidied away in the book shelf. It was a day or two before I came across it.
External porch door lock was temperamental if locked from inside and then locked when going out.
Smaller bedroom ceiling light was dismal.

The property has a great lounge area and two good sized double bedrooms with plenty of storage. There was a lovely 'welcome pack' consisting of tea, coffee, sugar and some nice biscuits, as well as a tea towel, washing up liquid and, bizarrely, some dishwasher tablets - although there isn't a dishwasher. There are instructions a-plenty for the TV, HiFi and central heating system.
The washing machine was a trial - didn't seem to work properly. We saw from the guest book that we weren't the first guests to have experienced that. The key stuck in the front door after a coupe of days. We rang maintenance and they just said "Again? It does that sometimes." Not an issue as there is an inner door that locked so access to the property was secure - just annoying! There were no details about recycling - we remain unsure of everything just goes in the bin! We were able to park on the road outside the property.

Great location in the village close to all shops and by the river. Easy check in and out. Big main living space, great shower once you got it working.
The place was clean but some areas could have been checked again before our arrival (clean blanket on the bed for example but with large stains showing, some of the plates and bowls needed cleaning. A dishwasher would probably avoid that). The flush of the downstairs toilet stopped working.
