Plenty things to do, In Skipton and surrounding area

Comfortable bed, good size comfortable living area. Nice large bathroom, walk in shower, and bath. Close to town centre, canal walks, Skipton woods.

This is a traditional cottage. The kitchen is very small. No oven combination microwave.

It was so cold, heating is fixed on a timer . Though we used the log burner each evening all the heat is drawn up the open staircase. The log burner was drawing air so a bag of logs wasn't lasting an evening. The kitchen is very small, with a microwave sized oven almost like a caravan sized kitchen.

Had a great week. Weather was gorgeous. Enjoyed a couple of meals out .

It was ideally located for all amenities. Plenty to do and see right on the doorstep. Private parking an extra bonus as we know how hard it is to park near the premises that we are holidaying in.

Great location in Skipton.

Excellent central quiet location with own car parking space. The cottage has a cosy sitting room with a gas fire, a comfortable bed, and a walk in electric shower. A lovely cottage for a short break in the Dales.

We were there on a cold winter night and after the heating went off at night it was cold in the bedroom. The duvet was a thin summer weight and should have been swapped for a winter weight for this time of year. There was an eiderdown on top of the wardrobe under a very dusty old leather suitcase. The next day the owner offered to come and put a heavier cover on the bed and while we were out placed the dusty eiderdown on top of the clean bedding. We were surprised there was no spare loo paper, and no hand wash or soap in the bathroom or kitchen, only alcohol gel in the kitchen. The kitchen is suitable for making breakfast, but not for making large meals, and it would be good to have a draining board next to the sink.
