Host was very helpful, flexible and communicative. Accommodation was nicely finished and had everything I needed. Location was perfect, both for Skipton and for exploring the Dales area - M&S Food around the corner, the brilliant Skipton castle and town centre with its many cafes, restaurants and pubs a few minutes walk away, close to the bus station and 15 minutes walk from the train station. Excellent value for money.
I was cold in the property at times, initially because 2 of the 3 radiators were off or very low (which I hadn't realised) and then because the heating is set to a timer which I couldn't change and didn't necessarily suit my needs. Was very chilly getting up early in the morning during this cold weather before the heating came on and I needed the extra blanket at night. Having said that, I do understand that some guests could potentially abuse having total control over the heating and waste a lot of electricity, it's just that the preset timing may not suit everyone.
I also found the pillows a little lumpy / flat but that's a minor point.
