Great location, right on the front. This is a beautiful building in great surroundings.
We were given a room on the second floor, from the car park, you have to climb a set of stairs and then four further flights.
As I had injured my knee the week before; this caused me considerable discomfort during the three days that we were there.
We were not told the time that the doors are locked or opened; as we had our dog with us, my partner had to go out in the dark via the restaurant stairs as that was the only door that was open at 10:05pm.
The toilet is also very close to the sink, so if you're a larger person, this could cause a problem.

Very helpful and friendly staff - the young woman on reception made us feel really welcome. The food in the restaurant is excellent and they very helpfully provided vegetarian options.

The very best part of our stay was the location of the hotel.
The room and bathroom were very small and up many stairs with no lift.
