A unique place to stay with hassle free parking

A lovely, homely place to stay with a decent breakfast, comfortable lounge with complimentary tea/coffee and a good sized car park. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and we had one of our rooms upgraded as the hotel wasn't too busy when we were there. It's perfectly located for exploring all parts of the town.

A very disappointing stay in an outhouse, some distance from the lovely ‘chateau’ that is featured in all of the marketi

The main main publicity refers to the attractive ‘chateau’ building. But our accommodation was actually situated in an old outhouse, quite a distance from the house, which is currently undergoing renovation.

Perfect location with secured gated car parking, very comfortable beds and a great breakfast.

the location is excellent right in the middle of Saint-Valery. Driving a classic car the car parking away from the town and with a secured gated entrance was essential for us. We stayed an extra couple of nights and were moved to the 'cottage' self contained with self catering as an option. We would definitely stay here again. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Great hotel for a relaxing break

Beautiful old building, in lovely grounds and great location. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and peaceful. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the staff were so nice.

The only 'negative' comment would be that if one wanted the velux windows open at night then the blinds don't keep the light out first thing in the morning.

Wonderful place!!

The Chateau was beautiful with a view of the bay and close to the medieval part of the town - so a perfect location. Our host,Justine, was friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. We had diner at the Chateau and it was superb. I would definitely recommend a stay here. I can’t wait to return!

A perfect relaxing break in a wonderful Chateau in a great location.

The atmosphere was superb, very relaxing and calm. The hostess, Justine was so kind and helpful. She epitomised the Chateau in every way and great credit to her for ensuring that everything was of the highest quality, including the room and the evening meal.

Very disappointed

The location

The hostess was dressed in jeans and baggy jumper but on the morning we left was dressed up because she said guests were arriving?. My husband asked for a glass of red wine was not asked which brand was available she just turned up with the glass and couldn't say what it was. We arrived back at the chateau after going for a meal to a board by the door with phone numbers should we need anything. Nobody in the chateau at night Considering the price paid for two nights €462 it was very poor as looking on your site there were far superior properties at a better price.Yet again booking .com only 2 hotels out of 4 booked with you are as described.Very poor and very disappointed. As suggested before you need to check what your advertising

Superb - worth the cost

Everything: staff, room, posistion, breakfast. This is an expensive hotel but worth every penny. No hesitation about staying there again. Parking was great, secure and in the grounds (they have also have 3 EV chargers). We love coming to St. Valery and the local restraunts are superb (highly recommend Les Jardins).

Wonderful situation in an historic town. One we have seen many a time but now have stayed in! Great to park up and not have to worry about the parking. Beautiful spacious bedroom with an equally large bathroom!

This was a special experience in a special place.

The hotel was very comfortable, and the staff were very welcoming. The quality of the room was excellent and the view across the Baie de Somme was wonderful. The breakfast was very good, well served in a comfortable room with delightful views. We love St Valery sur Somme and have stayed there before but never at the Chateau Romerel. In the future this hotel would be our first choice.

I would thoroughly recommend this place and we shall be returning.

The chateau was very convenient with plenty of parking. Our room was lovely with a view towards the river. It was set back from the road so was very quiet. The staff were friendly, it was like staying in someone’s home. I really couldn’t fault it.

There was for us nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was delicious and plentiful served to us by a charming young man. We had breakfast in a pleasant room overlooking the garden and river. Table laid beautifully with cloth and good China and cutlery.

We stayed in the Dépendance. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower room and toilet etc was rather cramped in the converted attic space

our room was unbearably hot with no air conditioning or even a fan snd the rest of the house seemed cool. I also think they should have a small fridge in room with chilled water for a property of this style and level
