Kumonoue Fuji Hotel Standard room - Mt Fuji view with open-air bath

We had a traditional Japanese breakfast and dinner at the hotel. You choose what time you'd like to eat breakfast and dinner before, it is not buffet. You must do this in advance. The dining area had a very good view of mount Fuji. The sukiyaki for dinner was one of the best meals I had in Japan while there. The bar offered a good variety of alcohol. There was a beautiful park Oishi park nearby.

I wish the open air bath was an onsen, it is just as it says, an outdoor bath. It was still a very luxurious experience regardless to be in a hot bath over looking a beautiful view of Fuji. I wish the location was closer to town, public transportation is very hard in this town but the hotel helps this by offering a complimentary shuttle service from and to Kawaguchiko station (make sure to utilize especially to go check in, it is very far and uphill).

The view and the location was worth it. Quiet yet very near to Oishi Park.

It was a little challenging finding the hotel

Very comfy room with a very lovely staffs. The room is good with even traveling with a small kid.
