Good and nice hotel. Food is really delicious and so so good. Worth every single money just a bit afraid of that narrow steep to the hotel as we drove at night but if you are pro at driving - this is totally fine. Recommend to arrive day time.

The view is very good and got the open-air bath. But too much insects and far away from the JR Station

The hotel locates deep in the North of the lake and is on a steep hill around by trees so you must take their shuttle bus or drive by yourself for logistics. The earliest shuttle out is 9am and latest coming back is 4:30 pm so your visit time is strictly limited. No way to watch sunrise and sunset outside. No way to enjoy a dinner outside. The staff and included meals here are satisfying, while the beverage price, room decoration, room cleanness and view of the Mt. Fuji disappointed us. When we turned on the ventilation system, the air smelled a little stinky. We booked the Japanese style room so there was very limited space at doorway for us to store our large suitcases, hard to open them if you want to search for a certain thing inside - we ended up opening it on the days of check-in and check-out only. The view of the Mt. Fuji was partially blocked by some high trees and other houses in front of the hotel. If you are looking for a place where quietness and inner peace are the key pursue, you can still choose this one. But if you have a lot of outdoor plans and need flexibilities in daily schedules, you may want to find another accommodation on the east side of the lake.
