Location was great, right beside the beach, views were stunning. The space outside was super for the family. Our dog was safe and able to run around. The size of the property was great and spacious. It is a beautiful house. Plenty of good things in the house to make it more comfortable. Some nice touches like the introduction folder and things for your pet. Enjoyed being able to bring our pet with us.
House wasn't very clean. Needs a good deep clean. Under furniture, sofa there was alot of dirty and items I didn't expect to see. Damp issues in bathroom that needs to be addressed. Also carpet coming off the stairs at the beginning of the 3rd floor which I was worried about someone falling or catching their foot on. Back yard needs work done to it and power hosed to make it safer to walk on. Thought it was expensive when I seen the cleanliness and work that needed done to the house.

a warm and welcoming holiday home with a spacious garden and lovely sea views. Margaret was very helpful and we would thoroughly recommend Carriguisnagh for a relaxing family stay

The house was amazing. Loved the layout and character. Never saw a toilet door (ground floor toilet) only locking from the outside 🤣
The huge secure garden was great for our wee dog to run around and play.
The view was also amazing and I would definitely stay again. My mum didn't want to leave!
Bit of black mould on the top floor and paint peeling due to some damp in the walls but we loved the house nonetheless. TV channels didn't work but we didn't mind going old fashion and actually talking to each other 😉

The location of the cottage is excellent. Our group was made up of my 4 sisters, me and my dog. The large enclosed garden was great for the dog and the proximity to the beach was excellent. The only thing I could fault was that the thermostat could be turned a few degrees lower. The house is ideal for a group and would be wonderful for a family with children.
Nothing. We loved it.

Views were excellent. Towels & bedding were very clean. Plenty of bedrooms to accommodate my family. Warm water on demand. Well enough equipped kitchen, albeit small for the size of the house. Good heating system. Log fire for the chilli evenings.
Mirrors in bedroom were very dirty. Bed in main front bedroom wasn’t very comfortable & creaked on slightest movement. One bathroom for a house this size is poor and led to long queues for morning showers. Sofa covers were severely worn and ripped. The whole place is in need of some TLC. Could be a stunning property with a little internal paint work and some upgrading to some furnishings.

The property was very spacious inside and out. Loved how close to the beach it is located and a short distance from the town.

Amazing location. We had beautiful sunset dips in the sea, and could nip back in 2 minutes. Lovely home, suited 2x families of 4 wonderfully and would sleep, as well as accommodate in the living room and dining room 9 well. Very comfy. Very well equipped. Caretaker even gave us extra kindling. Easily walkable to Ballycastle centre and harbour and easy drive to the sights. Probably one of the best stays i have had.

Excellent contact with the host. Everything was clean and the house was well equipped.
The panel on the bath was broken and there were some cobwebs on light shades and a spider living in the bathroom but none of these things would deter me from returning. The house could do with a little TLC but it did feel cosy and homely.
