The welcoming from James was amazing, he is such a helpful, friendly gent who made us feel at home. Love the fact that we saw the giraffes right upfront. It was peaceful and just what my soul needed.

I missed having a TV in the room.

There were sufficient options to choose from for breakfast. The food was well prepared. The table was nicely set and the view of the mountain was awesome. We were happy with the room and the facilities provided. The kitchen comes well equipped for self-catering. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the bushveld. The donkeys came to check in on us often, while the other animals observed from a distance.

There wasn't anything in particular that we didn't like.

Friendly and warm welcome from Solly. Had a lovely breakfast with a stunning view. Solly even took my son out to feed the animals, he was so impressed and felt very special. Great value for money!

We went there to take a break from city life and home, knowing we only have to bring ourselves and food. The Sunday, around 10h00, we need to ask them when is housekeeping cleaning the kitchen, to find out we need to pay an extra R100. I had to show James on the app, it says daily housekeeping, not about an extra charge. He always refer to the lady the owner said so. Not long after that they change it on the app, to additional charge. This incident spoiled our whole stay there. I am also not sure if we were supposed to get a remote, but we could only move around in an enclosed area, where the bar was we had to wait if we see one of the staff to open the gate, for us. \there were supposed to be a Tv in the room but we could not find it, (although it was good to detox from tv, but it is the world cup and some highlights, would have been good.
