I liked the location and that it was clean and quiet.

That the room key card didn’t seem to work

The place is very central, in the heart of the city but in a quiet area. Though it is an old building, the furnishings are new and modern. Very comfortable.

The only thing that did not like were the flight of steep stairs at the entrance, which created an accessibility problem to an elderly person that was with us. But since the building is an old palazzo in the city centre we would expect that. The host informed us of the stairs beforehand.

Small but very clean room in the center of Catania. 1 minute to via Etnea. Close to the bus stops and restaurant. Bed was very comfortable. Coffee machine, water and hair dryer in the room.

Noise from the street. But not excessive. It was a centre though.

The apartment was clean and modern, in a central location. The room was spacious and quiet. With a coffee machine and 4 capsules.

Very problematic that you don't have someone to talk to. You check in at the tourist information center, but if you have any issues with your room, you don't have anyone to talk to. In our case, we discovered that we only have 1 bath towel (for 2 people), and we needed to go back to the tourist information center to ask for another one, and it took time for them to handle it. The apartment appears on the 1st floor, but you should know that there are 30 steps to climb to get to it. Note that the apartment is not accessible. Even in the bathroom, there are stairs to get to the toilet. There is not enough hot water (I had to shower in cold water, after a few minutes hot water finished). The "breakfast" is a coffee + one pastry from the coffee shop nearby, a 3-minute walk from the apartment. And the worst part of our experience was a surprise when we got back from breakfast at 8:30 AM and found the door of the apartment open shut. We were shocked because we were about to check out in a few minutes. And it was much earlier than the checkout time. The cleaner didn't know and thought we were checking out the next day. The cleaner was surprised and apologized, BUT cleaning the room at 8:30 AM is too early!
