The property was beautiful. We were looking for a nice relaxing family vacation and that is what we got. The surrounding community is nice and quiet. The only thing that would’ve made our stay better was if the pool had been open so we could’ve taken the kids swimming.
The pool being closed, the surround sound system in the living room did not work even after someone was sent to try to fix it. The master bed was pretty hard, could definitely use a softer mattress. The cleaning crew should check all drawers when cleaning as we found a condom in one of the bed side drawers in the master bedroom that the previous people must’ve left.

The property is in the Bethany West community which offers a pool for a $30 per person fee. A gym and play area is included. The property has a good floor plan.
According to the property description, we should have had a working dishwasher, parking pass and gas grill. The dishwasher was unusable because it was moldy. The parking pass was not at the property, nor was it delivered after I spoke with the 2Vacasa representatives. The gas grill was rusted and unusable. When I asked for a working grill, the representative told me that a grill was not a guaranteed amenity. They did send out two different cleaners, but neither properly cleaned the dishwasher filter. Both of them just sprayed the dishwasher and ran it. Unfortunately the filter was filled with black mold, which I pointed out to the Vacasa representative. She said she would spray it, and run the dishwasher. That action did not make the dishwasher usable. The house needs a thorough cleaning. Some of the walls were written and/or had things thrown on them making stains. Example is the front hallway which had what looks like slime stuck to the ceiling near the light. There were brown spots on the ceiling also. There are sand bags by every door to block water when it rains. In the downstairs storage room there is a dehumidifier, but it wasn’t working. Thankfully, it didn’t rain a lot during our week. I did report the non operable dehumidifier, but nothing was done. Upon arrival, we noticed the weeds growing out of the gutters. That fact probably adds to the water flow problem at the property. Reported too, no action taken. The property’s outside needed cleaned up too. Garbage was ground into the leaves and rocks next to the driveway. Greenery needs cut and leaves need raked. I guess the owners are still making money, it seems that is all that matters.
