Villa San Leolino by Interhome

The Villa was great. We stayed there for a week. The villa is very old and has been in the family for over thousand years. That also means, that the walls are thick, windows quite small, but the place has a rich history. The Villas is quite high, so the view is amazing from everywhere. But keeping in mind the elevation, it means that it is also a bit colder, than in the valley. We had everything we needed. Gas stoves for cooking. Moka coffee pots. Dining area in the old kitchen. The beds were very old, but were comfortable. Nearest grocery store is in Londa, it is small, but we got mostly what we needed. The natural park is quite near and there are some lovely hiking trails in the mountains. There are winerys nearby, but we didn't visit many. Firenze is also near and everything else is a few hour drive away.

The WiFi range could be better, it did not reach certain rooms, but the speed was okay and usually better than my phones (which did not get any reception in the house because of the thick walls). I would have liked a coat rack in our room. It would have been nice to have more place to hang our clothes. Also I would have liked to have space for suitcases (just to put them away).
