We loved it! The view, the staff!

We loved our stay! Staff was friendly, professional and so knowledgeable and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and our room spacious and comfortable. The views go on for miles. Breakfast was very nice, pastry was delicious. We would recommend Tres Baroni to anyone visiting the region.

Perfect peaceful spot

The evening we arrived at this beautiful place we were tired and stressed from a busy day . The minute we drove through the gates we knew we were in heaven . Next we met the wonderful Gessica who welcomed us so warmly we felt like she was family . The suite we booked was everything we wanted and needed from the glorious bath tub to the comfortable bed with lovely linen . Breakfast was absolutely delicious and once again we were served by Gessica who helped plan our day . All in all it was an excellent experience staying here and my only regret is we couldn’t have stayed longer to fully appreciate the wonderful hospitality and amenities available. 10/10 💥

Exceptional

On arrival we had a long journey but no rush to do anything so we sat outside and they brought us drinks - all very lovely and the view amazing. The accomodation was beautiful and we ate at the restaurant which had a fine dining menu based on the flavours of the forest and region and was exceptional.

I’ve had better camping trips. Very disappointing.

The staff are lovely. Very welcoming made us a coffee when we arrived. He carried our bags to the room and was very welcoming. He got us more blankets and a kettle as it was a cold night. It’s a beautiful location

It was the night before my wedding and stayed here with my sister. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. When we arrived the room was extremely cold and hadn’t been preheated. We asked for extra blankets with no problems. It was so cold we did not have a shower and slept fully clothed. In the morning (my wedding day) I had a shower and it was cold, the towels were hand towels so had to try with my spare clothes.

Had an amazing stay

Me and my husband had the best stay in the hotel. Alcoa room is great with stunning views,facilities are clean with nice interior design. The staff was amazing,explained everything and answered all our questions,very polite,always with the smile. We highly recommend to use their restaurant Mater, it’s worth every penny!

Relax in style a short distance away from beautiful woods and towns

Borgo I Tre Baroni sits in a wonderful spot next to the town of Moggiona. You get there mostly by car, but you're close to Camaldoli, the city of Poppi, and you're right in the center of the woods natural reserve, 10 minutes from wonderful walking spots. The rooms are tidy and clean, and the cleaning staff is discrete and flexible, not to mention fast. The rest of the staff is exactly what you want from a structure like this. They're available at all times and very easy-going while still being consummate professionals. They all speak excellent English (I'm Italian but I overheard them). Our stay was a bit longer than average (2 weeks) and we grew to like them as people too. Breakfast is not a buffet but you can order everything on the menu. All the ingredients tasted genuine and are cooked to perfection, you can't go wrong. You get wifi everywhere, except a tiny corner of the pool area. The publicly accessible areas are carefully designed and welcoming. The beautiful breakfast room becomes a reading room for the rest of the day, with a bar in function at all times. They even have a sizable collection of books to borrow. There's a spacious terrace with a gorgeous view of the valley and the castle of Poppi in the distance. The pool isn't enormous but it's perfect for the small amount of guests. Even in the busiest times in the middle of August we found perfect spots to sit and the pool was accessible without any fuss. It's surrounded by green and it also features a view like the terrace. As an added bonus (for people who enjoy reading more than sunbathing), the pool area has a spacious wooden patio with tables, sofa chairs and even a hammock where you can find shade at literally all times of day. RELATED: the structure hosts the restaurant Mater. It's a high-end cooking experience that I swear was the best meal I've ever had by far. If you can afford it, I cannot recommend it enough... I left a piece of my heart there.

I personally have no complaints but I guess I have to write something. If you want to stay inside the structure all the time, you need to get organized for food. But that's normal with a structure like this. However, you can find 4-5 affordable restaurants with good food within a short drive. The staff will be able to direct you easily. Also, there's a minuscule corner of the pool area where you don't get wifi. That's literally it for the negative side.

A great resort amidst the most stunningly beautiful national park.

The very best asset of this lovely property is that it sits within the most beautiful scenery and just a few minutes from the astoundingly beautiful Camaldoli National Park. To wake up here each day, surrounded by such amazing creation is an absolute delight ... leaving us with the desire to return here again if ever we are able. We appreciated the large size of our room and most especially the jacuzzi within it, that was perfect to soak in after walking in the national park. The room was spotlessly clean with very good air-conditioning and there was ample free parking within the resort. There is a lovely swimming pool here too. The daily breakfasts are delicious & of a great quality with a great variety of options available. One of our very special experiences here was to treat ourselves to the 'fine dining' restaurant 'Mater' which is on site and show cases some of this area's finest foods. We were very grateful for one of the senior staff (called Leonardo) whose exceptional politeness, helpfulness and excellent English speaking made our stay extra special.

Unfortunately there was quite a bad odour coming from the drains in our bathroom - even though the bathroom itself was spotlessly clean and very large.

Home away from home

Everything. But mostly the staff was amazing. Lorenzo greeted us every morning with a wonderful smile and make us feel welcome and at home. Leonardo and Desire at the front desk were most helpful. Marta from the management team was a wonderful host.

Relaxing in the Tuscan Hills

It was beautiful, peaceful, clean, and comfortable with great views, a relaxing pool area, spaces to enjoy being outside, and a good breakfast. The parking was good and the drive to the town is short and breathtaking. We had relaxing massages so good we needed a caffè doppio to drive home and took sandwiches to go saving us stops and money later. The town has delicious food and friendly people. Overall the staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend getting massages.

There was no air conditioning or fans but you open the shudders and it does cool down in the evening and mornings so if your enjoying the outside and the pool, it’s great. Make sure you get the gate code because we were surprised to find it closed after dinner and got no response from the button or WhatsApp and climbed it to open it from inside so we could get our car and ourselves in for the night. Breakfast was very good but the meat and cheese listed after the eggs and omelet comes separate, the omelet being plain, though still good. The older gentlemen was a little abrupt. The restaurant wasn’t open so We didn’t get to try it but we would definitely return to the area and the property.

Velkomsten - vi ble svært godt tatt i mot, og fikk store, flotte rom med utsikt over dalen. Personalet var veldig hyggelige og fleksible og la til rette for at oppholdet vårt ble fantastisk. Vi slappet av ved og i bassenget, og spiste en helt magisk middag på restauranten - langt over forventning. Frokosten var super, med både deilig buffet og mulighet til å bestille oster og skinker og omelett med mer.

Rigenerante.

La posizione è molto bella, vicina al paesino. Bella la piscina, con comodi spazi sia per il sole che per l'ombra. Tanto verde. Molto particolare il ristorante all'interno del resort, con cucina gourmet. Sarebbe stato gradito avere informazioni sul livello importante, anche del prezzo, prima della prenotazione.

Camera grande con simpatica sauna all'interno. Peccato per il letto sottodimensionato per persone alte anche di poco sopra la media. Sconsigliato nei giorni della Sagra del Porcino, troppa confusione fino a tardi.
