Perfection in Tuscany countryside.

The breakfast was divine. Exceptional service and food. Great range to choose from. From fruit, cereal, breads, cold meats, sweets, cooked eggs and bacon. Expresso cafes with a range of different cafes and different teas. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely little shop down the road for cold meats and cheeses (the BEST pesto) and wines. Wines available for purchase at Villa. Highlight was horse riding through vineyard it was amazing. Lovely town within driving distance with good supermarket. Not too far to drive to Pisa and Florence which were truly beautiful. We would highly recommend this breathtaking property. It recharged our travel batteries nicely.

Only minor issue is room wasn’t soundproof but couldn’t fault our stay here.

A very pleasant stay in a beautiful location, not far from Florence.

Beautiful location, very nice restaurant, excellent breakfast. The pool was a wonderful surprise after a very hot day on the road. The staff, especially Martina, was very kind and helpful.

All was very high standard. However, its important to keep in mind there is no elevator... especially if one is over 70! Our advice is to bring a lightweight suitcase...

Excellent gateaway to tuscany

We loved the location, the views, the food, the staff. Everything was very very good

The bed was a bit short. 1m76 and I touched the bedframe while sleeping. The bathroom was a bit small.

Inconsistent. Beautiful facilities, poor sleeping.

The main building, pool and restaurant are excellent

Our apartment was in a separate building 300m from the pool. It was directly on a road with regular high speed traffic. To enter the apartment, we had to pass four door with steps - really uncomfortable. The matrasses on our beds should have been replaced long ago. They stated there was airconditioning but there wasn’t; they had weird cooling machines that did a poor job.

I really enjoyed my stay but the cost of some elements wasn’t reasonable

The views, setting and quality of food were all excellent. Rooms were clean and staff generally friendly.

Some of the pricing left a bit of a sour taste: Room temperature flavoured tap water at the bar with strawberries in the jug being sold for €1 euro a glass was a little off. The breakfast was nice but it was expensive for €20 in terms of what you got for your money. Effectively, it was a mixture of cold meats, fruit, cereal and eggs Rooms and accommodation were spotless, characterful and very clean. The bathrooms could do with a little touching up. Some of the caulking and grout was starting to yellow.

Breathtakingly beautiful!

Everything at Agriturismo Fattoria Lavacchio was simply amazing. Every member of the staff gave us an absolutely unforgettable vacation/honeymoon. The owner Faye and her husband Dimitri were so kind and really made us feel at home. Their primary employees Martina, Francesca and Simone were top class. Not to mention Tatsu, their amazing wine somelier, who gave us a tour to remember. Everything was 10 out of 10 - the local bioorganic food and wine, the facilities, the views… Eveything was perfect! The location is secluded and beautiful, but still close to Florence and other lovely cities. We are gonna recommend this to everyone we know. THANK YOU!

We felt at peace and completely relaxed.

The surroundings were stunning. Peaceful and so beautiful to see. Our apartment was quite even though we had a young family next door, we could not hear them or anyone else. The staff were lovely and always happy to help you. Christian in particular was very lovely, friendly & super attentive!!

Can’t wait to go back!

What’s not to like? It’s nearly impossible to get to without renting a car (or taking an expensive cab ride from Florence), but if you’re looking for gorgeous scenery, tranquility, delicious food, great wine, and an amazing staff that makes you feel cared for, this is the place for you. My friend and I stayed at the Casanova suite. It was more than enough room for 2 people and the outdoor spaces were great! The staff, specifically Martina, were so kind, helpful, and down to earth. The pool was stunning and the restaurant was really incredible!

It’s tough to get a taxi from the Pontassieve train station. I hadn’t planned on renting a car, but realized on the first day that I needed one. That’s my own fault for not doing better research. The ride up the hill might be tough for inexperienced drivers.

Heaven on earth

It was the best stay of our Italy trip … it was so relaxing … and beautiful resort surrounded by grapes and olives plantation …. It’s truly felt like heaven on earth

Disappointing Experience given the price

Great location, nestled in the stunning hills around Florence. Spacious pool. Relaxation chairs located in a quiet field near the venue. Venue is quiet and peaceful. Accommodation is spacious and clean.

The onsite restaurant was disappointing. The food served was not unlike prison food. Dishes were cold and not tasty. We didn’t finish some dishes. No options given for more standard Italian food and drink. Venue appears to cook local dishes badly. The waiter was unfriendly bordering on rude, which also affected our experience. We opted to go to local restaurants instead during our remaining stay. Worth noting as well is that the restaurant is closed completely on a Wednesday which was disappointing. We were unaware of when booking our stay as we specifically booked the venue for the convenience of having a restaurant located on site. Activity (horse riding etc) booking was uncoordinated. We were interested in a couple of activities but due to miscommunication and poor customer service from the venue we were unable to partake. On site laundry took longer than promised to return our clothes (within day to over 1 day). The poolside bar was shut most of the afternoon during our stay, even though it was meant to be open. After 10+ phone calls from multiple irate guests across a period of a couple of hours we finally managed to get the bar open again for service. Overall a poor experience from what bills itself as a premium venue.

Best property with a great view in Tuscany

My wife and I absolutely loved everything about this property ( amenities, food, property and staff) Special thanks to Faye (owner of this beautiful property) who is so humble and she went above and beyond to help us to design our itinerary for 1 and half days in Florence She not only shared the best places to visit and eat but also helped us to plan the transport so we can avoid any delays. Last but not least big thank you to the amazing staff. We had some last minute request and they were super flexible and helpful. They are really the Gems. Keep up the great work team! Definitely recommend this property - 5 stars

Beautiful location in Tuscany. Amenities were fabulous including the pool. Nice having the Bodega near property for essentials (bread & morning pastries). Also could pop in for coffee.

Didn't realize the apartment was on a main road. By the property map, it appeared all one facility. Fridge was a little loud, but not horrible. Basics like salt and pepper would have been nice, but were able to find some at the Bodega.

It shows horse riding and other activities but they aren’t at the property. horse riding is a 25 minute walk at another property. You are limited with other food options than the property itself. We couldn’t put the A/C on as they don’t allow until June even when it was 27+C days.

breakfast was decent enough ,location was amazing and so was the staff.

the recreation facilities could have been better especially was told about horse riding session for kids but they couldnt arrange it .Restaurant menu should have been better especially should have tomato based and pesto sauces for pasta
