La localisation est fabuleuse et permet un accès facile aux grands sites de Higashiyama mais aussi au centre (Shijo-Kawaramachi) et Gion à pied ou en bus ou encore en train souterrain Hanshin. La gare est rapidement accessible également. La maison était très propre et plutôt bien équipée. Une vraie jolie petite machiya très confortable à 5 !
La chambre tatami donnant sur le balcon pour étendre le linge est très bruyante en raison des sorties de climatisation. Pas évident d’y dormir pour les gens sensibles aux bruits. À noter également que la maison est aveugle sur 3 côtes au rez-de-chaussée ce qui oblige à allumer les lumières. Il manque un rice cooker pour préparer les repas.

The place is spacious and neat. It’s also close to tourist spots, with lots of food options nearby.
What I didn’t like was that on some nights, there were rats running on the ceiling, which woke me up a bit. Overall, it’s still a good place for the five of us.

無人チェックインですが、事前の問い合わせメールへの回答が早く、
チェックイン前に荷物を預け入れできるよう、計らっていただけた。
隣接する他の民泊宿の客が一晩中騒いでいて寝られなかった。
敷布団が薄く寝づらい。リネンには毛玉があり、化繊だからと思うが洗濯したてといった感触ではなく気持ち悪かった。
