Good value for money. Nice location. Has common use washing machine (washing price - 200 yen) and dryer (100 yen - 30 min). That’s it with good things.
Very small rooms. No cleaning. You hear your neighbors as if they are in your room. Not much common space, no proper common kitchen.
Annoying communication - in every message you are told about the rules and penalties for not adhering to them. The whole building is full of different rules - every wall will have an A4 paper with how you should act.

Great location close to everything
The room was very small which was ok but walls were paper thin I could hear other peoples conversations in the room next to us, who happened to be talking until past 1am

Overall, we had a good stay here during our trip to Kyoto. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Everything was mostly self-service, which made the experience simple and convenient. The accommodation had a nice traditional Kyoto atmosphere, which made the stay feel more unique and memorable. Check-in instructions were clear and facilities provided were sufficient for a comfortable short stay.
The main downside was the location and finding the property itself. The accommodation name and signage were a bit difficult to identify, especially for first-time visitors, and locating the place initially was slightly challenging.

Clean, pretty room, good location.
No shelves to put things on. No above ground level seating , had to buy a stool for my husband (over 6 feet) to sit on.
